Just read this back and wow was it poorly written on my behalf

Basically what I was trying to say (also forgot to mention this was scouts too) was the 2nd public gunging was worse because it was with a group of girls I'd never met before and straight off the bat I got the vibe that most of them didn't like me. I was a lot younger than them and it felt like they had to babysit me and that annoyed them.
One of the girls was really nice and the head girl seemed quite friendly too (although once again she was the one who gunged me) but the rest of the group were so unwelcoming that was just humilating and it felt personal.

Also forgot to mention the lack of understanding of why it was happening. First time I knew I was being gunged as forfeit for being the captain of a losing side.
Second time I just had no idea what was going on. Felt like they just randomly ganged up on me and tied me to a fence and started putting stuff on my face (they initially put make up on me before wiping it off) then I saw the head girl arrive at the scene and I was certain she'd put a stop to it all but instead she gunged me whilst the group of girls who were very unwelcoming towards me laughed. Needless to say I thought they were doing this cos they simply didn't like me.

I found out later that it was actually my intitation into their group. I knew initiations at that point to either be singing a song or telling a joke but apparently since I was a boy and they were a girl group, they liked to humiliate boys in a "playful and fun manner" for their initiations. That's what they told me afterwards at least.

But yeah the two situations were very similar in a lot of ways (public park, only boy amongst a group of girls, tied up and gunged by an attractive head girl) but the vibe of the two were so different that one was humilating but somewhat fun and the other was just humilating.

Wrote way more there than intended but reading back that original comment I realised it made no sense so I probably gave too much context to compensate

Context, yes, but what were you gunged with?!

When I was there early on they used to use foods but got massive backlash from parents since it was ruining their kids hair and they also felt it was a huge waste of food. So with the exception of one occasion anytime I was gunged it was with an As Seen on TV gunge powder that was donated to most groups
