Gunge is great nervously walks up to the box, opens it and reveals "take 1 pie to the face and play fill the tank.

He opens the box to find 3 large pies in there, he knew something was in there! stuck to the lid is a card with "take 3 pies to the face" written on it, in big letters. Next up is Frodobean, will they be lucky and get a clean box, or take yet another messy box out of play. The question is, stick with box 7, or swap it for box 6 and let Wamlover know if he made the right decision on swapping.

Can we set a general time limit for this game and if the person doesn't reply, they keep the box automatically or something like that.
I sent that exact same thing to Subslime, it's really a question for the game maker, I would propose 12 or 24 hours... what does everyone else think?
I think a couple of days should be allowed, we all have things that may keep us offline for a bit. Perhaps we could say that after two days from asking, it defaults to keeping their box

It's cool. As someone who hosted, I like to keep checking so people know their results. 48 hours seems fair.

Iain-EC-Gunge goes up to the box looks briefly at box 6 before sticking with box 8, he opens the box to see "Stay clean and pie the host". That then gets doubled by the previous box, so I get 2 pies. Thanks Iain......... Happily Iain walks back to the seat. There are now just 1 clean box and 2 messy boxes remaining, as jbond is up next.
Will he swap for box 6 or will he stick with box 9?
And no, I hadn't thought of the order before I typed that
