Does anyone else like seeing a woman get wet and messy wearing canvas sneakers like Keds and Converse All Stars? Keds used to be a common thing on this site but so much anymore. For me to really like it, thee shoes have to be worn without socks.
Converse boots are one of the ultimate forms of wamming footwear. They look great clean and dry, but also wet and mess up beautifully. If you wear them into water or runny mud, the eyelets on the inner sides just above the sole let the water flow in to wet your feet inside them, and because they give you a great feel for what you are walking on while still protecting your feet, they are great to wear when wading deeper into a lake or a river.
I've always loved the idea of people dressing knowing they're going to get wet or messy, and so deliberately choosing shoes made of rubber and canvas that can be washed, wearing swimwear as underwear under their clothes, and so on.

I'm glad some of your models still wear sneakers!
I agree about the converse shoes. It's really cool to see the water come out of the eyelets. I bought a pair of cheap converse imitation shoes just for wamming. So far they've held up pretty good.

We've tended to heavily feature our Hunter wellies in recently shot scenes, as they were a significant invesrment and are a fetish in their own right, but we have no plans to stop using sneakers as well, every now and then we find a great new pair in one of the charity shops to add to the collection.
Canvas Converse All Stars worn without socks are sexy as hell, especially a long loved well worn pair. They look great whether the woman is walking through a store, trodding through mud, wading in a creek, or tubing down a river.

Awesome! Feel free to share a few pictures of your messy converse if you want.
I got messy in my converse a few weeks ago. Chocolate syrup ran down into them. That's a great feeling!
In the Netherlands, there's an activity called wadlopen, where you walk through the mudflats at low tide. You can choose to do a circular walk or walk to an island and take a boat back at high tide. The shoes they recommend for this are high-top canvas sneakers, so lots of people wear those and of course they get completely covered in mud.
I have a pair of converse myself, but they're entirely made out of rubber, so as to be waterproof (doesn't work in knee deep mud though! ). I've worn them quite a few times in the mud, they're very durable.
