Thanks Novagunger I thought I'd make it more interesting by starting a stop watch, and trying to count to 3 minutes. I set some rules - If I was short of 3 minutes I'd repeat it again with a minute added for each 10 seconds short. Anything between 3 minutes and 3 minutes 30 counted as complete. For every 15 seconds after 3 minutes 30 I would spin the spinner again, complete that and then try the 3 minute alarmless shower again.
Do you know how hard it is to count to 180 under a freezing cold shower? Give it a go. Not wanting to be short I over ran to 3 minutes 35. So I spun a 'ice water down pants'

. Nothing beats dunking or soaking a guy fully clothed.
