OK, so it's been over 24 hours since I posted a message here violating the new rule. But the game didn't exactly "stall" after that post because there were 2 additions to the hot potato since the offending post. However, nobody has been willing to BOOM since then. So did my offending post "stall the game for at least 24 hours without getting a boom", as the rule states?
So somebody will need to decide how to handle me and my post, and it shouldn't be me. This was actually why I wanted to test the rule, because applying it is not as straight forward as it would seem.
All suggestions are welcome. I put my messy fate in the hands of the Messy Hot Potato Game Jury.

I'd say the game hasn't stalled because people kept posting. I'd say you're safe for now
Here's an alternate way to word the rule to be less ambiguous, maybe? If a "loser and boomer" thread stalls for more than 24 hours, then the last person in the thread and the one who made it a "loser and boomer" thread both get the BOOM; if they're the same person they do it double.
Because of multiple complaints, an updated new rule has been added to the first post in this game thread, i.e. the rules post:
If someone adds a line here like "loser and boomer must complete the hot potato", the person adding this line will be immediately auto-boomed and must then complete the hot potato DOUBLED. Anyone else is then free to start a new potato.
The question still remains of how we should treat the current Hot Potato. It seems it should be stopped, but there's the matter of what to do about the 37 shaving cream pies that have accumulated. Maybe we should just divide them amongst the 5 participants?

Dividing them among the participants seems like a fair idea to me
1. Three eggs in your pants for an hour without breaking them. 2. If any break, break the rest without using your hands then add a carton of custard for the remaining time

1) go for a half hour walk with 4 eggs in your underwear (either Cadbury or chicken, boomers choice!) 2) soak a tshirt in custard and then put it on 3) take the remaining custard and dump it over your head
