MESSTIVAL: The World's First WAM Film Festival & Awards Ceremony!

UK sploshers will have probably already had an inkling or two about what I've been planning, and I'm SO STOKED to finally be able to share it with the whole of UMD! I've been working hard behind the scenes to iron out some of the details, and while we've still got some more to do, I want to get the word out now so that you don't double book yourselves, as it's going to be FUCKING AMAZING.

On Saturday 16th March 2019, we'll be kicking off the weekend with a daytime conference for WAM professionals (models, producers and event organisers), led by CKWam & LisaMoomin, and then in the evening we'll be having a very special edition of Pies & Pints for everyone to hang out and have a drink and some food before the big day.

On Sunday 17th March 2019, we will have the inaugural MESSTIVAL. I've found a beautiful indie cinema who loved the idea of a messy film festival and I want YOU GUYS to help me put on a bloody good show. You'll be able to submit your own films for us to screen, as well as meet all the producers and models who've come along to see their debut on the big screen!

"What's that?" I hear you cry, "Just some movies on a big screen? It sounds like fun, but I'm not sure if it's worth the journey...."
Never fear, because we will also be hosting THE MESSTIVAL AWARDS! Let's give some recognition (and prizes!) to those who've shone the brightest.
We'll be collecting nominations soon, and our wonderful own Messmaster is on board to handle all the voting so that you can be sure that your vote will count.

I'll be posting more details, including how to submit films, nominate and vote, in the very near future, so keep your eyes peeled - in the meantime, don't make any other plans, because this is going to be a weekend to remember.

Pretty much all the designs are available as t shirts, hoodies, stickers and mugs as well as some other bits for certain items - we just picked a selection to show the variety of items
I'll be making a post later this week in the Messtival group with a load of examples so you can see at a glance and am also working on a merch page over at sploshwithpenny.com with links for the most popular items that'll you be able to click to be taken straight through to the store page My absolute fave item so far is the Gunge Princess skirt!

@Tilly - we will have pin badges (and possibly stickers) for sale at the event, but everything on Redbubble is printed to order & drop shipped - it keeps the costs down for buyers that way since I don't have to order in bulk and then recharge for postage worldwide and also means I could have a huge range of designs without worrying about buying a load of stuff that might not sell! Also my flat is tiny and I don't have space to store several boxes of t shirts hahahaha.
