Over the past year I've been developing a structured two-player messy challenge format built around six emotional challenge zones:
Envy - one player wins prizes while the other gets messy Fear - nerve-wracking challenges under specially chilled water or icy gunge Disgust - games featuring our grossest and most unpleasant substances Humiliation - playful strip-loss challenges where items of clothing become part of the stakes until someone is gunged naked Anger - messy revenge moments and heated rivalry decisions Joy - silly games where gunging yourself wins you a share of the jackpot
Instead of random forfeits or punishment-style mess, the idea is to create something more like an emotional rollercoaster - where rivalry, suspense, risk and transformation become part of the experience as well as the entertainment.
Some of those emotions sound negative on paper. But something interesting happens when they're chosen freely, shared with someone you want to beat, and played within agreed limits beforehand.
They become fun.
Most adults don't get many chances to do something completely silly on purpose. Messy games give contestants permission to laugh, compete and enjoy the chaos for a day - while still staying in control of what they take part in.
Each Emotional Trial contains two different games to choose from - usually one milder option and one more extreme option - so contestants can decide the level of challenge they want before filming begins.
Over the next few weeks I'll be introducing each trial and the games inside it.
To start things off I'm running a poll to decide which trial's games get revealed first. Which trial would you like to see the games from first?
I'd also love to hear in the comments which one you'd choose first if you were playing.
PS: I'm currently looking for female perspectives on the project website. If you'd be willing to take a look at the website and share your honest thoughts feel free to DM me and I'll send you the link.

Thanks so much - really glad the concept is exciting you and I'll certainly try to keep you updated!
Here's what's coming over the next six weeks - every Friday I'll be revealing the games from one of the remaining emotional trials, along with a new poll for which trial you'd like to see revealed next.
After all six trials are revealed I'll be introducing our first two contestants for Episode 1 - along with some special audience interactivity options on our website and SubscribeStar (both coming soon) for those who want to get more involved in shaping the episode before filming begins.
Speaking of which - who are you hoping to see taking on the emotional trials in Episode 1?
Drop your suggestions below!
Even if they aren't who we have gone with for Episode 1 the suggestions might inform who we approach for future episodes.
Watch this space - and feel free to share with anyone you think might enjoy the format!

I couldn't possibly comment on whether any of those are correct...
But you've given me an idea. I'm feeling mischievous and since I'll be revealing games from my new project each week, it seems only fitting to add a little game of my own to the forum.
Here's how it works:
Each week alongside the game reveals I'll be inviting people to guess the contestants in episode 1. Name both Episode 1 contestants in the same post first person to do so correctly wins a free download of Episode 1, featuring all six messy games, when it releases.
The rules:
1. 5 contestant guesses maximum per weekly thread
2. Both names must appear together in the same post guesses spread across multiple posts or multiple weeks don't count
3. Each week I'll reveal whether one or both contestants appeared somewhere in the previous week's guesses but not which post and not who. These clues start next week as there isn't much time for people to post their entry this week but if you're reading this now you've still got time to get guesses in for this week.
4. Winner will be announced when the contestants are officially revealed
You've used 4 of your 5 guesses so feel free to add one more.
One clue to get you started both contestants have appeared in previous UMD videos. No unknown models I'm not going to cheat, all my games are played fair and square. These are names you might well already know.
