Thanks for posting this so I don't have to. This claypit was set up by one of CreekRidge Campground's regulars, so don't spoil it for him. It isn't an "official campground amenity" so don't expect campground management to service the mudpit for you, and don't expect them to answer questions about how deep it is, etc., Use your common sense. You're using it as a guest.
Not spoiling it also includes cleaning up where you're supposed to, which seems to be in the stream. Nothing would ruin this like getting mud where it isn't supposed to be, restrooms, showers, etc.
Hope others are able to enjoy this amazing claypit...... I'd be there if it weren't for the complications this virus brings for long distance travel.
Hope some more of you are able to make the trip to CreekRidge,( within guidelines for distancing however). Maybe one at a time can play while another shoots video or takes photos..... Water/ground temps are reaching their warmest parts of the year in MI, take advantage while you can
