Sorry for the slowness over the past week or so. With the new server we've got more headroom now as far as bandwidth, but ironically that's revealed some other inefficiencies with the database that are holding things back. Still working on them now.

Turns out a major culprit is this damn chat. Disabled it for now while and will keep working on things.

Sorry, but why do some users complain about a free site?
We get the best WAM content in the universe, we get to
message and chat to friends, all without charge.
And just because someone's connection is slow, it's like MM
has done wrong!

Thanks for the props. Honestly, every message I've gotten so far has been completely supportive. People everywhere are taking the time to tell me what they're seeing on their end, and it's never once been nasty. And they're paying members of subscription sites, producers trying to get work done, etc. The amount patience is unreal. Thank you everybody

Both our file servers are now fully populated and receiving traffic. Also, all links to video files inside the streaming players now point directly to our file servers. They used to point back to the main server first, which would then redirect the browser to get the file from the file server. With one less step, starting the vid and moving the playback bar should be a little faster. The server likes this too
