Mrs. Bee, you are one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever had the fortune to know, on both the inside and the outside. That's the hoariest of cliches for sure, but it's so true in your case I can't help but use it here. I will definitely be sending you and Bigshipper all the positive thoughts and energy I can possibly muster in this upcoming fight for your life. Almost ten years ago, you were a source of good advice and sympathetic counsel for me in a time when my father was dying, and I will always be thankful to you for that. (I used a different UMD screenname back then, but we were communicating via old-fashioned email by that point anyway.) And of course I will also always be thankful for how generously you've shared your WAM adventures with the forum here over the course of the last 20+ years. You are an inspiration in so many ways, and if there is any justice in this world, you will roundly kick cancer's ass and continue to shine your light for many years to come.
she has always been in our thoughts one way or another, now we add her to our prayers. they say that a positive attitude is extremely important, so keep passing the good thoughts.
Goodness, I hate to hear this about anybody, much less our Bee. I can't stand to think of her in pain and hope she gets top care and comfort while she undergoes this. Please let her know that Messmistress and I are thinking of her. Something must be trying us because my own 90 year-old father was diagnosed the other day with cancer and is undergoing treatment too. But at least we've got family and friends on and offline, plus 2024 science to help right? Hang in there Big and Bee... somehow I feel like we're all in this together.
My thoughts, prayers, and best wishes are with you both. As someone who personally met and worked with you, it hurts to hear this news. I'm praying for the best outcome Mrs. Bee, I know you'll kick this!

Mrs Bee has provided the entire UMD community with so much joy & positivity. The positive thoughts she has provided to all of us, I'm sure will be returned to her & Bigshipper many times over.

Thank you all so much - I'm absolutely overwhelmed by all your thoughtful and kind replies here and the messages in my inbox...the tears are streaming down my face as I write this, I am just so touched. I wish I could reply to each and every one of you but I'll just say: it means the world to me to know that I, and the Shipper, have such an amazing support squad. The Shipper would never say it out loud but he needs support, too, and I love it that this community has offered it to him - I thank you for that.
