Apparently, a dynamic to everybody being shut in is that we all sit and stream videos Our servers are being taxed right now, so sorry for any slowness or buffering. I'm working on things and distributing traffic as best I can... and I've just ordered a higher bandwidth limit from our main host. For any issues please contact me directly.
So yeah, the whole internet is busting at the seams with traffic, and we're also dealing. I've increased our port speed by 10x on the main server, and I'm tweaking our secondary server to further reduce lag from authentication actions.
Since last night, UMD is currently processing all files on the system so that they can be streamed at a selection of bitrates. This will drastically reduce buffering and stuttered playback. Should be all done around November
If anyone is having trouble with any file, please inbox me. Messmaster
So last night I enabled our on-browser players to immediately buffer 30 seconds upon the page loading (even though auto-play is off). Before, it didn't load anything beyond the initial "are you there, Mr. file?" ping. So now playback should be quicker, if not immediate in some situations.
