I';ve had this record for years--decades, really! I always assumed this was a sculpure on the cover, but a friend of mine recently told me that it's a silver-painted model! Here it is:
Yes, I think it is the late AIKO BERGE-KAY who allegedly had roles in the stage and screen versions of South Pacific and also Elvis' Blue Hawaii - though I've never found her mentioned on IMDB.
She'd be in her mid-twenties when the album came out. The cover is either a call back to Goldfinger or a Las Vegas review.
More than happy for anyone with more details to correct me. I'm not as knowledgeable as I pretend. In fact I've only just realised that the joke in the record title is that there was never a Golden Hits of the Smothers Brothers Vol. 1. Oh, those 1960's wags!.
