Sounds like an awesome time was had by all!

My girlfriend and I would be WELL up for this! We're both very shy but a couples event sounds like something we could manage.
It sounds like the event was incredible and I'm a lil sad I missed it. Well done to everyone involved, I can't imagine the work effort that everyone put in, so huge congratulations.

It would be really nice (and very scary!) to finally meet some of the lovely people on here ^_^

Sorry for the delayed thank you in the thread and all i can do really is reiterate what everyone else has been commenting.

What an amazing weekend, it really will go down in WAM legend and what a fantastic way to celebrate the 20 year anniversary!

As with many people this was my first ever meet up. I've been to quite a few private splashing sessions of the past couple of decades but never to a group meet up and was very apprehensive and worried before attending, even to the point of thinking of staying at home. But i am so glad i plucked up the courage to travel down for such an awesome event. It was perfect from start to finish really. Every thing seemed to run like clock work and all the people I met were so nice and friendly. The drinks in the bar to start was a great way to meet people before heading off to the meal, which was pretty much next door. It was great to see so many of the lovely ladies from MostWAM attending the drinks and meal. Even got to meet Charlotte, who i've been chatting online with for the past year or so and had some awesome customs made from. Its really like meeting celebrities for the first time! The time seemed to just fly by but I didn't want the evening to end. A few of us headed back to someones (terrible with names) hotel where a Black Sabbath cover band was playing. So we had more drinks and played a few games of pool before they shut. Got back to the hotel around 2am wish for a few hours sleep, which didn't really happen due to the excitement of the next day. Pretty much like Xmas eve when you were a kid.

The big day started early and ended up finding myself at the studio for 10:30ish. So like a couple of others i found myself at the now famous local Asda store for breakfast. Sitting there in the cafe thinking of all the time goopermarket sweep was filmed there was unreal! We turned up at the studio bang on 11:30 and there was still plenty of parking. I was worried about the showers and toilets but to my relief there were nice big warm showers in little cubicles, so everything was private. The security guards were awesome and were probably the most friendly and polite security i have ever met anywhere!

It was unreal walking into the studio for the first time and seeing the mudpit, dunk and gunge tanks all sitting there. Things i have seen for so long on the videos were actually there in the room with me. The live show was awesome and cannot wait to see all the videos of it online in the coming weeks. The girls were all so lovely and friendly. When it came to the audience participation I headed for the gunge tank (didn't realise it was the actual one from Noels House Party, how awesome is that!!) I had to avoid the mud pit and dunk tank, cos i stupidly tripped on a step in the pub the night before and messed my ankle up pretty badly. When it came to my turn in the gunge tank, I asked Sky if she would join me in there, and she very happily obliged which made my first experience in a gunge tank truly unforgettable.

Once the audience participation was over it turned into a scene from Dick and Doms in da bungalow, with all the girls throwing pies and gunge over us all with the Ace of Spades blaring out of the sound system they have in the studio, was quite a party venue. Then the foam machines all kicked in with everyone joining in the fun on the dance floor including Leon and Lisa.

The whole weekend was even better than I could have ever hoped and massive thank you goes out to everyone involved in organising the event and helping out behind the scenes. Everything seemed to go like clock work on both the Saturday and main event on the Sunday. Everyone had such a great time and really appreciate everyones hard work and effort in putting the weekend together.

I saw that you may plan smaller events in the future and I would definitely be up for those and would recommend it for anyone that was unable to attend this weekend.

Once again a massive thank you to you all!!!

This is a little later than I would have liked as I've only arrived back home this evening. This was the event I've enjoyed most in a year or two. It was a fabulous afternoon and I'd do all of it again. For context, I'm a double amputee. With the mud wrestling, I got to try something I just didn't think I was capable of: it was beyond fantastic. Everything about the afternoon was so very well done and you made it really much easier and more accessible than I had any right to expect.

Lisa, Leon and the team thank you again. I am really very grateful for the chance to try all those activities and messes in a safe, accessible and welcoming environment. You always offered help when you thought it might be needed, didn't leave anything to chance and I really cannot provide sufficient thanks for everything you all did. It was worth the distance, the cost, and everything else. I sincerely hope you all got a little something from it too.

If you ever do anything like this in the future I'd love to attend.

On a related note, can I please ask, if you don't mind, what mud you use in the mud pit and where you get it from? I've seen references to powdered mud on mostwam but I can't find much beyond tiny quantities of beauty or horse products, and I'd really like to attempt to obtain a sufficient quantity to play in.

Just to add to all the praise, just wanted to say what a fantastic weekend it was, even better than I had hoped. It was a really friendly atmosphere that made it so easy to get involved.

I am still on such a high from it all. I keep getting a little bit emotional as well because it was all just so lovely.

Everyone just having a great time together, totally erasing the boundaries the media tries to divide us with (size, shape, race, religion, politics, physical ability, sexual orientation etc)

I had so many messy hugs from my mission of trying to cover myself with as much stuff as possible just by hugging. It worked too it was hilarious

Messy hugs and love are definitely the future. Parliament should relocate for one day a year to the mostwam studios.. it would solve everything

I think the videos will all be available (where people consented to be filmed) on the MostWam download stores and streaming sites in due course. They'll need to get it edited first, which will be a fair bit of work. There was a no photography rule for the audience so no-one "outed" anyone who keeps their wam interests private, and no still cameras, but all the "on stage" stuff was being filmed by the MostWam crew for the people who were OK being on camera. That side of things was brilliantly organised, people had the choice of being filmed for eventual sale, being filmed for private viewing by themselves only, or no filming at all. Whole thing was extremely well run.

Thiss honestly sounds like something approaching heaven. Right down to the 'no photography' rule snd respect for privacy, and the attitude free fun vibe. Just too far for me to feasibily get to this time...but dreaming/planning for the next time!

I would love to have been there too. (Greatly enjoyed JoJo's events up here in the North in our favourite kinky club venue for the last few years. Pity there weren't more takers for that.)

However, I struggle to get the chance at the best of times and early September is always one of the busiest times of the year for me, with multiple deadlines whooshing over my shoulder for the start of the new term, so completely impossible. Now, if it had been in the summer, I might have stood a better chance of making it. Oh well.

I achieved a lifes ambition in finally being comfortable in public by being myself but im feeling really down and lost as I enjoyed that day so much and now have nothing to look forward too.

Thank you to everyone making me feel so comfortable so I could finally come out of my shell in public. It felt so natural. I really miss it.

Basically, that sounds like "con drop" (where con=convention). It's quite common after sci-fi conventions and LARP events: you've just had an intense couple of days, doing really cool stuff with people who share your interests, then you go back to normal life and it feels a bit flat by comparison. If you were nervous about the event in advance, you'll also have to deal with the adrenaline wearing off.

On the plus side, your emotions should return to normal soon. In the meantime, the general advice is "self care". Take some time to relax. The specifics will depend on what you like, eg having a long bath or binge watching a TV series.

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon, and this does show how good the weekend was (to create an after effect like this).

Finally got home yesterday after an awesome week away after Weston i also visited London and Leeds to catch friends and familly and all the normal day to day stuff we do when we're away from here

I really can't say anymore than has been said before and just huge respect to the entire crew at the moomins place for the huge amount of time and effort that was involved in putting this on Alex and Paddy seriously grafted and the amount of hand balling of buckets of gunge back to the top of the tank was a monster effort! Bet they slept well on Sunday night.

I'll just add one thing i don't think has been mentioned so far (surprisingly), turning round at one point and seeing Candy just floating around in the pink bath of gunge just made me laugh and chuckle for the next 5 mins or so so random and I'm like "WTF"? just hilarious!

The two blogs writen by Neil and Whitestar are really spot on and I hope anybody who couldn't make it along feels a bit more inclined to come along to other meets/events and splunches as both blogs say we're a friendly bunch and there's nothing to worry about. I got a wee mention on Neil's blog and it was really appreciated and gave me a lovely glow inside

Washing done successfully too, as there just seems to be a lot of washing chat around lol but all seems Ok and all ready to see another day

How did the girls find it? I think it's a little different to turning up and just filming for you meeting a whole bunch of people who are into this. I know they won't work without an audience again which was one of the quotes of the day so I think they really took it in there stride Sky, Amy and Cassie were my smoking pals on the Saturday and they are all as sweet as a sweet thing

I'm having a sofa day and catching up with all the recorded TV i've missed over the last week. Big Brother is up to date now but still have the bodyguard to watch so no spoiler alerts please


Sunday was just an awesome day and life experience I'll never forget. Really glad I took the time off work to make the somewhere near 1,000 round trip with the stop offs on the way back.
