Just arrived home from the best weekend of my life. Thank you to Leon and Lisa for organizing an amazing event. So many memories. Now for a long hot bath.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

Just to echo other peoples sentiments about how fantastic it was today.

We started with Cassie and Rhian over the Dunk tank.
Amy and Rachel did the pies.
Skye v Casey for the Gungetank, + 2 other ladies getting drenched along the way.

This left enough time to:
1. Take a pie sandwich from Amy and Rachel
2. Wrestle in the mud with Ari
3. Get in the gunge tank with the girl of your choice. Sorry Amy, revenge for that pie!
4. Drop in dunk tank to clean off
5. Embrace the gunge the girls were throwing at the remaining guests
6. Finish with foam party involving all the MostWam team
7. Get hosed off for helping to clear said Foam

Thank you from Switzerland, too. We had a nice time there and liked it to try nearly all of your messy games you prepared for the day (gunge tank, pie wars, dunk tank) We only left out the mud pit. . Your birthday party was a great event and we had a lot of fun. Because of limited time we were a bit in a hurry that sploshing for the audience begins. But finally all went very well and we had our fun. I think all you guys, who stayed till the end had really great fun. It was cool, that nearly everyone got glibbery. Very good job Leon and Lisa and all the team of course. And a lot of respect for the girls. I think it is a great step to get in real contact with the people who support your work. You don't know what will happen and what kind of people they are, when you only communicate virtually with them. That was the same for Alejandra, when she attended a public pool party in Germany for the first time in her active time as wet & messy model. You all did a great job and created memories for your fans, that they will never forget again. A big thank you for that girls! And for all of you who did not attend memories of Alejandra . Her slimy clothes of today ready for washing in the bath tube.

Yes thanks to Lisa and Leon for all their hard work; and for the help of getting me to my hotel! Really kind. Nice to meet so many people and put names to faces. Really enjoyed watching the games "live"

Sorry about the tailbone - I was the guy manning the drop button after Candy got 'distracted' by the other fun on offer. For some reason I never got a 'staff' t-shirt though...

I'm so glad to see everyone had fun - well done to the Moomins & their hard-working team behind (and in front of) the scenes. I know they put a huge amount of effort, worry and stress into this event, and their only concern was that everyone loved it as much as they wanted.

Mission accomplished!

Sorry if I didn't get to chat to you over the weekend, I did my best to mingle but I know I didn't get round everyone.

Well that wasn't a bad weekend! Lots of people some i've met before and many new faces (although i'm terrible at remembering names and faces...) Huge thanks to Lisa and Leon for all the organising, Saturday's two venues worked out really well for us. It was great to meet Charlotte and so many of the girls and the effort that they put into mingling with us.

Al does so much behind the scenes in the studio and the event wouldn't have happened without his hard work! The live shows were great, the audience interaction was great too. Will say more later.

Sorry for stopping mid flow but i've been helping with the clean up. Needless to say there's stuff everywhere but it was looking a lot better when i left than when i arrived.

I think the games in front of an audience worked well - i wonder when the diva demands will start!? "I'm not doing GTG unless there's an audience!" You most have an evil genius (or two) writing quizzes! The reaction to the first move when Ari took on Miss K.O. was fun (i've done a few messy wrestling sessions and they're all like that!)

I will say that the afternoon was a bit frustrating for me, as i can't get water or anything near my contact lens and i literally can't see beyong my nose without it, i was rather tormented with things i'd like to do but couldn't!!! Still it was great to see so many people getting fully immersed in all of the fun - there were concerns the time would be tight if everyone wanted to do everything but i think the number that participated worked well. The natural flow out to the showers was fantastic too - boring practicality point, but not having a huge clean up queue at the end was helpfull.

I've never been to a foam party before, but the foaming thingummy was rather good - who needs Matey and a whisk eh?! Great to see folks diving in, or indeed trying to escape! So impressed that the Mostwam girls were in the middle of it!

There's a lot of media shot so please everyone be patient, it will take a lot of cobbling together especially if you did more than one thing as it'll be on different cameras.

Well done Leon, Lisa, Al, Charlotte and a host of others - it was a great party to celebrate 20 years of the umd as well as15 years ftogether. and of course thank you to everyone who came as it's the people that make the party!

Having the foam party at the end allowed people to drift off to the showers for a clean up, and reduced the queuing time somewhat. The showers were still busy when I was ready to finish so Leon asked me whether I'd like Lisa to hose me down. Um, let's think about that for a few nano seconds. YEEEEES.
The mud wrestling was awesome, but I made a big mistake at the end by going into the pit with both girls. I was still getting the mud out of my right eye whilst driving up the M5.

Fantastic day! My first group event, and I crept in quietly, didn't take the chance to introduce myself.

Then Leon and Lisa started everything, and I was grinning and quipping with a fantastic crowd.

I can't praise Leon and Lisa, the girls, the back room guys and everyone I met enough. It all flowed beautifully, and everyone gave each other respect. So many happy memories; thank you all.

(If you want to put a face to me, I was in the Iron Man outfit)

Being a non-attender, I read through all the comments and clearly everyone appreciated the hard work put on by those responsible (?) (Er...Somehow the term responsible doesn't seem to fit a WAM gathering, but let that pass) what does come over is the warmth of the reception that people got, many of whom clearly did not know anyone else. I've finally landed and rested enough to post (still have a big grin on my face!) So much thanks and appreciation to Lisa & Leon Moomin for organising what was an utterly amazing event and to DM1 for inviting me. It was my first WAM event and I was made to feel very welcome.

It was fantastic to meet such a great bunch of messy fans, make new friends, meet some faces irl and have such fun! The highlights of Sunday were the gunge bath, dunk tank and oh my! the mud wrestling!

Definitely a weekend I'll never forget!

Now for the clean up after the event. This outfit used to be completely white.

Wow! I wish I was there.
Out of curiosity what was the attire everyone wore? Was it more formal or casual? Would love to attend the next one of these.

Another massive thank you to Lisa, Leon, the girls and the mostwam crew.

It was obviously that a lot of thought and effort went into planning every detail and I had an amazing time. Having the drinks and meal the evening before was a great chance for people to get to know each other first and both venues were perfect as we had our own area in each.

Lisa and Leon I really hope you enjoyed it enough to want to hold another event and thank you for being so welcoming.

Meanwhile ... any chance we could get some pics of the mud wrestling? I hadn't noticed this Ari before but I am now prepared to fall in love with her.

Hi Folks

Thank you all so much for the amazing feedback you've been giving for our first ever messy event.

All of our team worked really, really hard to make it happen and to ensure it was fun, but very safe.
(All the risk assessment boxes ticked)
Alex, Charlotte, Lisa and myself spent the whole week before prepping the studio, emptying all our stock shelves to make way for the cloak areas. Laying flooring, building sets, arranging the lighting, the list goes on and on. And yes we did take the time to ensure our top secret pie cream was safely decanted and locked away, haha.

After the vanilla meet and dinner on the Saturday, all our girls commented on how lovely and friendly everyone was and indeed Alex, Charlotte, Lisa and myself all shared the same view.
It really was amazing to meet and spend time with you guys, as with all meets, we didn't get to speak to as many people as we would have liked to, did anyone else notice how quickly the time went on Saturday?

On the Sunday, again, all of our team did a fantastic job, Alex and Paddy refilling the gunge tank over and over again, the door staff treating everyone with respect and politeness, the guys on cloaks, keeping everyone's belongings safe and organised, Candy and Henry pushing the Dunk Tank button (haha very responsible job that, fun though), all of our girls were obviously amazing and friendly taking part in everything and mingling with people, Ari, Miss Kay-O and Penny manning the mud all day, Iain, who is always happy to lend a hand with clean up and organisation and of course Lisa who pulled off an amazing performance hosting the games and mingling with everyone.

I can't speak highly enough about the crowd that attended, you were all amazing and showed so much love and respect for each other and our team.

Going into this it was supposed to be a celebration of 20 years of the UMD, but it ended up being very Mostwam affair. Sorry Messmaster, the intent was there, we did say UMD 20 several times.

Will we do it again?

For now, what we are thinking is a couple's event and perhaps some 10 people mini meets and studio days (much smaller versions of the weekend).

As for the audience bits, they will probably take a while, lots to sort through.
