I remember watching this film a very long time ago and the effect it had on me. .As a young woman it was amazing to see the power this girl had over all these rough looking men. I still think its very sexy to this day.

I love this move and this scene really cements it's legacy as a "Guys Movie". The director realized that if this scene was shot in real time he would never get any acting done from the male cast. Joy Harmon shot her scene in front of nothing but a camera. All the male acting in the scene was shot in cut away with a ten year old girl running around spraying the car with a hose. She was used because she would be hidden behind the car so you might see water and suds but no 44-24-36 Joy Harmon.
It pales in comparison but we did a little tribute to it with Rockell Starbux washing my old truck with mud. Very sweet, very young, Rockell had never seen this movie and, for all of her epic curvature, couldn't understand why a bunch of sweaty guys on a chain gang would be staring at her.
