Pretty certain its from worzel gummidge an ITV series from the early 80s. Had a few other cake fights and the like in it. I've deffo seen the clip you mentioned before on YouTube. Can't recall the exact episode but its deffo worzel like. No other characters resembling that hahaha

I remember watching this on a Sunday afternoon in the 1980s. The top photo is Una Stubbs as Aunt Sally. Bottom one is Lorraine Chase. All episodes of Worzel Gummidge are available in the UK on ITV player.
Other slapstick scenes include the scarecrow wedding which has an all out pie fight.
