We are getting a Kitten around Christmas time as she was born 28th October. We are presuming female as Calico (tri-colour) are usually female so we are trying to think of a good name, something different, unusual. Maybe unisex name just incase. I would love some ideas
By the looks of the kitten/cat the fur is tricolour so what about = 'Trickle' and is unisex and also after Maple Syrup.
LOL I had a orphaned lamb years ago who had an unusual bicolour fleece - parents, black Suffix ewe x Dorset ram - and became the house / farm pet and was called "Collingwood" after the Suburb (ALF) football team - Collingwood Magpies - colours are black and white striped jumper. Normally this colour fleece won't be looked at by wool buyers, due to the colour and texture and being mid micro range, and when word got out "Collies" fleeces fetched a premium amongst private wool spinners.
Not trying to turn this into a cat-measuring contest, but here is Happy, age 18, the cat from a stray litter in Fairlawn, NJ, born around 1984, the greatest cat ever. She lived with me from 1987 until her death 2004 March 13.
Thanks guys we finally came up with a name as I love Africa and hope to visit Tanzania one day we decided to call her Safari or Safie for short or as Richard said Safoff when being naughty

We have had Safi for just over a month now and she is 12 weeks old.
She is such a beautiful part of our family already and such a loving and attentive baby. She has had her required inoculations to date. Due to be neutered at six months old here in the UK.
Best decision we made to get her she is so funny and has learnt to fetch and steal hair ties off my dresser ! She comes to us both really early in the morning to snuggle and lies on your neck or her face close to yours I swear she senses my early morning anxiety and comes to comfort. She is turning into a great support cat.
