Hey, I was looking at the new crop of AI wam pictures and they are getting really good. Buy my question is, will they ever get so good as to accurately depict how each fabric reacts to the substance, or in my personal case show glimpses of skirt/dress linings peeking from the fabrics, is that still to come or its too much detail for AI to ever "care" about...

It depends on the model used. I still think Dalle3 has the best over concept of this and I've generated plenty where the clothing looks suitably saturated. I'm sure future models will be far more capable.
With Flux and stable diffusion, it comes down to the training image set and captions and I'm sure this will get better over time particularly as Flux becomes better understood
