I was using Flux up until now and saving as JPG files. Today I used Chrome and they were only available as jfif files, which is very strange. I checked if any Chrome settings determined image formats, but no. So I'll be using Firefox from now on, as it saves to JPG, which the website says is the format they'll be downloaded in.
Personally, I use XNConvert which allows you to batch convert, rename and all sorts of other stuff. For example, regardless of upscaling for additional detail I might do, I will always covnvert back down to 1024/1024.
