Bing/Designer is definitely more forgiving when it's the male being messed, that's just the way it is but I've had good results with the scenario flipped. More mess definitely helps or adding more background distractions and lighting. Will see what I can manage

Gunge tanks are difficult, not because Bing/Designer blocks them but more because it doesn't have as much context to reference in their data. You have to very specifically ask for what you want incrementally, each change will have an impact on the prior and may remove elements you previously wanted.
Just keep at it and you'll eventually get something you like. Focus on the tank and situation first, then add the clothing elements etc.
