A major part of the visual aesthetic I assign to my MessyHot project is bright provocative colors, and as such, I tend to work most often with ladies of a more vibrant style. I've actually received plenty of negative criticism for the tendency toward tattooed/polychromatic haired models. In the end, my goal is to create as near perfect a hybrid of beauty and sexuality as possible, while staying within my creative vision. My work over the years has encompassed multitudes of subjects, and I'm curious what sits best with you! Poll choices are a smattering of random stereotypes
I went with 'doesn't matter', because although I probably like the girl next door type the best, I like to see all kinds of cuties getting covered - and I wanna say that I LOVE the bright colours and model types that you specialise in. (Also love your attention paid to the ass!)
@messyhot To be honest the models you have in your videos are some of the type of ladies I like to see get messy Sadly I dont think you do any mud or clay stuff.
So Im going to have to go with the cute ASIAN girls from Route 208 and Pied Asian Girls since they are the only sites that have what Im looking for. I mean I would do custom videos from the producers here but sadly most of the models i dont really find that attractive. No offense but they dont have what Im looking for.
I think you almost need to go with what works best for you. You'll always have the people that like and dislike whatever you do, there's no pleasing everyone I'm afraid.
The anti tats/piercings people I've found to be a bit more vocal though. I shot with one model who had several piercings in her face, quite good sales from the videos but then I got this comment on the youtube preview:
"Turned off with the first sight of her. I'm so sorry dear, but that shit on your face is not my kind of thing. It might turn on the younger crowd, but the smell of rotting flesh after a few years of that crap in your face is enough to turn off a hungry shark."
However, absolute props to you with the models you've worked with, they all look amazing and I'm incredibly jealous.
Different things work for different people. Personally I have lots of friends with wild hair colours and styles including three current models - right now Lily has technicolour hair, Rosemary's is bright green, and Felicity has 3/4 of hers jet black and the remaining 1/4 platinum blonde. All three have amazing figures and love getting gunged, which trumps anything else in my mind. There really is nothing like shooting scenes with girls who not only enjoy dishing out the mess to each other, but you know are genuinely enjoying the feeling of the gunge flowing down inside their clothes when they are on the receiving end too. That is magic!
I voted "doesn't matter", though I will admit a soft spot for alternative types.
My initial thought was 'anything as long as they're messy' but then I realised that was pre-internet thinking - the days when you were grateful just to see any woman take a pie.
So I went with Punk for old times sake, but Goth or Busty Blonde wouldn't go amiss either.
Would actually like to see some more mature women getting messy (late 40's / 50's). Sounds like a fetish but it's just a desire to see girls of a similar age to myself.

What kind of person feels compelled to write something like that?
I went with "doesn't matter". I'll admit that I don't really like tattoos, but unless the girl is really plastered head to tail with them, they aren't really a turn off either. It does depend on the girl as well. The bright and unnatural (because nobody is born with purple hair) hair colors are actually a turn on.
You seem to have a pretty distinctive look both in the style of your videos and in the models you shoot with. In all of the videos you have posted so far, the models are absolutely stunning, so you are not doing anything wrong in that aspect It is only a limited budget that has prevented me from picking up every video that you have posted!
messyhot, I think people who go out of their way to criticise videos because they don't like a particular model's looks without being specifically asked for their opinion are downright rude... Trailers / Teaser pics are great as they allow people to decide if they are likely to want to buy a video / photo-set, and if a video doesn't feature a model I'm keen on then I'm unlikely to buy it, but I certainly wouldn't dream of criticizing a video merely because a producer's taste in models was different to mine...
However, as you have gone out of your way to solicit an opinion as to what potential customers might like to see in the future that's a different kettle of fish, and as I'm in the apparently "silent" majority, I must admit that I'm a big fan of a more "natural" / "girl next door" look... so my preference is for a girl who isn't "surgically enhanced", I'd rather smaller natural breasts than fake ones, likewise tattoos & piercings (except 1 set of studs in the ear-lobes and possibly a tasteful belly-button piercing) are usually a turn off... However I'm less bothered about hair colour (so I don't have a problem with the rainbow of hair colours many of your models exhibit), although that said I'm not a fan of "extreme hair styles" where for example, half the head is shaved etc. In terms of skin-tone I must admit to a penchant for girls with very pale skin... probably a side-effect of reading Classics at school!
I hope you find the above comments constructive. Thank you for sharing your work with the UMD.
I actually love that your models are all tatted up and stuff. Kind of reminds me of another site I'm a fan of (https://www.suicidegirls.com/). Don't listen to the jackasses that try to hate on the models. My only complaints for your videos is the lack of facial coverage.

I agree with this. I would love to see some of your models get full facial, and hair coverage. Slime, pies, etc.

Keyboard warriors. I'm all for constructive criticism but this type of behaviour is too common in the world of anon online personas

I agree with much of this (thx Simon, I don't have to write so much!) Certainly wouldn't dream of knocking anyone's tastes or making unsolicited bad comments if I don't like something. But must admit, I actually find lots of tattoos or piercings, or multi-coloured or extreme hair actually turns me off completely. Maybe I'm showing my age??! For me, definitely natural or 'girl-next-door'. Even when a girl is just 'glammed up' for a sexy shoot I like that less than a natural look.
MessyHot, it's good that you're doing what you're doing - it doesn't appeal to me but will to plenty, & I wish you the best with it
I typically hate tattoos and I really don't like over the top body piercing. I want to enjoy the natural beauty of a woman and not be distracted by goth / punk accessories. I do love Proxy Paige, but I usually preffered her blonde sets and when she doesn't have all of the piercings in. I have commisioned pie vids with XFuukax, she has one Tattoo and some wild hair, but it does not take away from her elegant looks. Now I do love the colors you use in the cake vids. I consider a ladies body a sexy blank canvas to mess up. I went to art school and saw the early transition to body mods back in 1992. I have seen it all and actually rather bored with it after 24 years. I also was trained by a bunch of Bauhas minimalists who attempted to beat out of me all love of decoration. (also forced to read Adolph Loos' treaty on decoration that all jewelry is bad and debased - so I switched majors from Architorture to silversmithing) so take my critique with a grain of salt. What's not to love about a nude messy woman displaying her ass and get frosted cupcakes thrown at her and hopefully sticking to her asshole, lol
There is nothing wrong with people having tattoos or various color hair. Don't listen to haters. When it comes to having people get messy or wet or whatever, a willing body is more important than anything. To the people out there complaining, find a model and do a shoot if it is that damn easy. Otherwise, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
I agree with this. I would love to see some of your models get full facial, and hair coverage. Slime, pies, etc.
Keep doing what you're doing with the women you're doing it with. As you know, there is no recipe that will please everyone. If you do the WAM you enjoy, in nearly every instance there are others who have similar tastes. This should be, above all, for fun, not commerce. As for me, it's very easy: an attractive pied face. Can be older, younger, pierced or non-. I can tease, however, and ask for the difference between a goth, a punk, and a raver and reference the South Park episode with the Goths and the Emos. (As an ex-New Waver, I totally get this but still strikes me as funny to draw such distinctions now that I'm old as da earf.)
I'm really digging all your girls and their alternative looks. You keep doing what you enjoy. I'd prefer a bit more facial coverage with pies and such, but your stuff is some of the most colorful I've seen here in a long while. Btw, the lady with the purple hair and white socks, HOT DAMN!!!
I really appreciate everybody's responses. I understand that everybody's tastes are varied and it's impossible to please everybody. That being said my body of work is quite vast, and while when I create art, my purpose is first and foremost to bring my vision of beauty into the world, I also would like to be able to continue paying my models, upgrading my equipment and all of the other little bits and bobs that makes being a content producer magical. Since this site is a marketplace as well as a forum with which to exchange ideas, I was hoping to get a feel for some of its constituents tastes so that I can do a bit of curation of my archive and try to release the sets that fit the broadest tastes (or should I say the taste in broads LOL)
Jamie you're pretty spot on in the assessment that anti-tattoo/anti-piercing people are the most vocal. The most vile response I've gotten so far is
"How desperate are you for women? Mom's are perma-damaged goods, man. What makes you think that we could possibly want to see some dumpy, stretch mark, mangled gut mother playing in food? You used to have hot babes with tight bodies now, most of them are homely, fat, blobs of freakish shit that should be stuffed in a burka and sterilized with a grenade. As for the rest, they covered with so many tattoos that they look like survivors of Hiroshima. Drop the X-File aliens and bring back the babes with the bodies. Thankyou"
As somebody who's extremely pierced, tattooed, and otherwise modified myself, I'm very familiar with the adversity one faces when it's decided to express yourself through body modification.
I've discovered that I can usually find the beauty in nearly anybody and help portray that, but as many of you have noted and I've experienced, it is impossible to please everybody at once.
Thanks for asking about our tastes in women for wam. As you, yourself, mentioned, as well as several other posters, it's pretty much assured that any producer will not appeal to everyone! We all know about all the other points of contention, so I'll keep this to the ladies' appearances.
I, personally, do not care for tattoos or major piercings. It's nothing against the ladies themselves; in fact many of them are very cute or beautiful. It's probably my age, but I just can't stomach a lot of piercings or large tattoos. I've sometimes seen a picture of a lady messy, and thought that she was cute and sexy. Then she turned and had all kinds of pictures & writing on her other side, and my heart sank.
I don't mind (and sometimes like) up to 2 sets of earrings per ear. A tasteful belly button piercing can be sexy. I can put up with a small piercing above the lip or on the nose. But not all at the same time! Lol! Ear channels or gauges (I guess that's what they're called) really turn me off, as well as nose rings and lip rings.
But I'm from a different generation, and I understand that. And if I was unwilling to look at *any* tattoos or piercings, there would not be a lot here to look at because most young ladies have a tat or piercing.
The very few times that I've said anything in a post about not liking these kinds of things, I've been apologetic and said that I know it's just me. No reflection on the producer or the model. If I've thought the lady was gorgeous or super cute, or the mess was awesome, I've complimented those things, but carefully explained why I just can't buy it. The "haters" that make comments like the two examples in this thread are just rude. It's not all about them and their likes, unless they've ordered a custom.
Btw, I really don't mind (and sometimes really like) different colored hair or different styles, however I'm not a fan of "extreme" colors or styles.
As a producer, you need to do what you enjoy, with the kinds of models that you like. But if you've done some shoots with more traditional-looking models, MessyHot, I'd love to see them.
Thanks again for asking; it's interesting to see what people's tastes really are. It's interesting that while there are very few anti-tat/piercing posts on here, the overwhelming lead in the survey is for the "Girl Next Door". And the next largest group includes those who have said that they like traditional models, as well as tattooed & pierced ones, as long as they're messy! Btw, as many of you already know, I LOVE a nice pie (or 2 or 3 or 10) square in a model's face!
Thank you so much everybody for the feedback! I've noted the want for more facial and hair coverage and will most certainly make sure we incorporate more complete intense covering. Despite my longtime involvement in the bdsm/fetish scenes, I only accidentally found my way into the WAM arena, but I'm having a great time so far!
Something I've found is that the people who are most vocal often aren't the most representative of the actual market. From my own perspective I've seen people rave about scenes that then barely sell, while other scenes with far fewer comments sell like crazy.
It's perfectly OK to have preferences, and even to politely and privately message a producer to ask about a particular model's look - no matter how detailed the scene description there's bound to be some aspect that's not clear. But ranting and insulting people in public is not just rude, it's abusive, it's basically misogynistic attempts to control what women are and are not allowed to do in the public realm, and as such should be stamped on, hard.
I'm not a producer so take this with a grain of salt, but you should do what you are comfortable with and like yourself. It will show up in your work and will produce better quality. If you follow what you THINK people will like you will go down the rabbit hole of trying to figure out the fickle mind of this community to no benefit. As they say in the sports world: "If a coach starts listening to fans, he winds up sitting next to them. Now, of course, it might not work out. Plenty of producers have come and gone because their stuff doesn't sell, but you might as well succeed or fail doing stuff you like. All that said, it is unclear to me whether you are a wammer yourself or not. You stated you started in other fetish vids. Sometimes when other fetish producers try the WAM game it seems they apply their past experience to their WAM vids and it does not go over as well. Take facial coverage-- many people in the community don't need it or don't like it (see my comment above about trying to please everyone), but most seem to and this goes against most non-wammer producers expectations ("why wouldn't they want to see the girl's pretty face? Aren't most guys just interested in a girl's body?") FWIW my interest almost exactly match your poll results -- I prefer the girl next door type, but, then again, I am old.
I prefer the Girl Next Door type, but I also prefer a lady who's busty, thick & open minded to having fun while getting messy. I voted for It dosen't matter because I find women from all walks of life.

Awesome - speaking personally, I just won't purchase scenes that don't have facial coverage, and the more extreme, the happier I am. And as I already dig the other elements of your aesthetic, I'd love to see your take on messing up those lovely faces.

SERIOUSLY THANK YOU! Ha!
And MessyHot do whatever you want. It's your art and enjoyment. These people that bitch all the time are just plain gross. They dehumanize models like we are on some assembly line for them to pick apart. I'll never understand why they don't just click onto the next thread or model quietly. I've had people bitch about me being plus size and too loud HAHAHHAHA! Oops! Luckily I have a pretty thick skin, and my mama raised me with loads of confidence never saying looks have anything to do with a women's worth... because if I didnt Id be in a position of looking at myself in the mirror and possibly not being happy anymore, or doubting myself if I listened to their bullshit. Do what Ya do. Your models are gorgeous!
PS... Tell the bastards to pick a model and order a custom... Or shit... Even just buy a video.
