Following on from another post, I'm wondering what people think should count as co-ed scenes.
There have recently been several scenes posted where someone of one gender, who stays clean, messes up someone of the opposite gender, and these were tagged as co-ed. Personally I'd be inclined to list those as the gender of the person getting messy, and only list something as co-ed if both men and women are getting messy in the same scene / event. But how does everyone else feel - is it in fact co-ed if it has men and women in it, even if one gender stays clean?
Note: I know this is ignoring other genders and non-binary folk but trying to keep it simple where the audience is mainly going to be looking for "looks like women" or "looks like men".
Yeah we've debated this several times before, and as a result I started the policy on "One-sided wam" years ago. It says that if only one person gets wammed, then it's the choice of the person posting to label it coed or not. There are a lot of people who use the coed option to find content where, for example, a clean female pies the guy. That can be labeled coed at the discretion of the poster. To enforce it just one way or the other means half the people don't get what they want.

I wondered this to as with mine and ztds content I've gotten a little messy... And taken a pie in the face... While by definition it's probably considered co-ed, I personally think unless there's full coverage or multiple pies it's at the posters discretion is they want to label it male, female,or co-ed... Sometimes people mispost and I'm pretty sure UMD and messmaster are quick to resolve anything if it were misposted
Very interesting results so far and nothing like as clear cut as I'd expected. Also MM's comment re the choice on tagging for coed / not being up to the poster. Poll closes Thursday. Ta to everyone who has voted so far!

To be fair, I think this shouldn't necessarily reflect on MM's comment. I voted before I saw his, and I went on the err of caution and went with "Any scene with m/f" to be safe. Later I got to read some of the reasoning behind differing sides and I understand them both. I don't know that I'd change my stance personally though.

If so, I think it should be tagged N/A instead of Female so that everyone can see it as opposed to only those who have the Female filter on.
Lol you totally dismantled this poll... Dreamygi is right how can you even get accurate poll results when this is in the female filter and you don't have input from the male wammers... Male want isn't my thing but they should have a say this should have been tagged n/a

Damn, I could have sworn I had tagged it n/a but it says female, sorry if I fucked it up. I don't expect the result to change anything - for starters it is still solidly staying 1/3 2/3 so there isn't a dominant view, plus MM's comment makes clear there won't be a change - I was just curious what other people thought based on some comments people made at the start of the "why so much male wam" thread.
Fifteen hours to go and interestingly the results are levelling, after being 1/3 - 2/3 for quite a while. Does suggest the current policy, person posting decides what to label it, is mostly working.
I'm only interested in female wam so male presence is a touchy thing. If they're barely on-screen and you only see flashes when they're dispensing mess then i find that okay. Any sort of active, fully on camera action i'd view as co-ed even if the guy is just there to dispense mess or (in the case of a few producers) there for sexual actions with a messy woman.
i guess at the minimum, if i cant see their face and head (so neck and down only) and they're just dispensing mess without otherwise taking part is my minimum acceptable line.

Ugh... I only just noticed this too. I changed it to N/A, but there isn't a lot of time left.
Final result was 72 / 49. So while there is a bit of a majority for "only if both male and female get messy" the result isn't decisive. Thanks to everyone who voted, you all rock.
