1) It's such a great feeling getting messy and experiencing stuff going all over you. It's fun and gives me a great sense of freedom. I also like to anarchic element of going against the social pressure to look presentable and rebelling by getting trashed and humiliated. 2 / 3) I've not tried many substances; pretty much just shaving foam and boxed custard, though I've experimented with putting food colouring in the latter to make it more like "TV slime" (you don't half need a lot to get a strong colour). I pretty much fell in love with custard the first time I used it, and it cleans up so easily under hot water that honestly the only other thing I actually want to try is Natrosol-or-similar. Other foods can go hang (and I don't seem to be able to get plain shaving cream any more).
