When a customer offered to send us a wedding dress that cost of 1800 pounds, in pristine condition, that had been worn at a wedding, on condition that we totally destroyed it, we just couldn't resist. Several of the girls were really keen to have the opportunity, but Sheela got the honours and she chose chocolate as her weapon of choice. It has to be said that Sheela looks amazing in the dress. She takes great delight in methodically and systematically ruining the dress and totally covering every inch of it with chocolate batter, chocolate sauce, and even a few chocolate coloured pies. Epiphany Jones pops along to help her get the back of the dress totally covered too.
This feels like the ultimate for clothes destruction fans.
It was me who sent the Rev the dress that was £1,800 new & worn once by a bride on her wedding day & then sold to me. A sumptious dress full of layered ruffles with a long train that Sheela ruined perfectly with chocolate sauce & i believe is the most expensive dress ever to be destroyed on the UMD (correct me if i am wrong). It is (or shoud i say was ha ha) a Maggie Sottero Designer Gown. Sheela could not have done a greater job & my dream expensive Wedding Dress Wam Shoot was made real.
Thanks Rev, Sheela & all that contributed. 27 years i have been on UMD but this is the pinnacle of my wam dreams.

I can't praise the Rev highly enough.

Thank you for this scene!
Also thank you for clarifying that you bought it from someone because I was like, how did you convince your wife to do this with her wedding dress??

I'm not married but have been engaged twice but never had a wife to even ask if she would destroy her wedding dress for me. Sheela did a magnificent job & the way she describes destroying such an expensive dress is a masterpiece in itself
I was assistant/second camera on this shoot and when Rev said we had a Wedding dress to trash, I was not looking forward to it as I've never had a 'thing' for traditional Wedding dresses. Previous wedding dress shoots have also thrown up some issues, which I will not go into detail with.
But as we were setting up and Sheela came in, there was something different. When Sheela started pouring the chocolate, I was captivated by how she created the patterns. I found myself watching both through the camera lens (as per a normal) and looking up and over the camera to see it in real life.
In fact, this became my favourite video we shot on this shoot.
Sheela does an absolute amazing job on trashing the wedding dress, so if trashing dresses is your thing, I don't think you will be disappointed.
So thanks Widgy for the dress, it turned from a potential problematic shoot into a great video and experience for me.
Did you try washing the dress afterwards to see if it'd come clean? I've sometimes been surprised by how well "dry clean only" things come up after a 40 degree wash in the machine.

Thanks very much DungeonmasterOne.
We did not trying washing the dress afterwards. Normally all dresses that aren't cut or ripped up are washed after the shoots, and attempts made to save them, but this thing was so big it had it's own postcode , and it really just was never going to be practical, sadly.
