I've had almost zero emails referred to me from the new captain at PFG, Certainly he would refer them to me...so I can only imagine he didn't get any complaints.

Nobody asked you for one. All we wanted was our fucking DVDs and customs we paid you for....SOME OF US AS MUCH AS 5-6 YEARS AGO. All we got was vague suggestions of a life-threatening condition and endless excuses and non-replies and a load of "insufficient postage" stories. I've talked to many of the other people who came forward to say Neil had screwed them, and it turns out Neil claimed to have shipped multiple people DVDs, but said they were returned to him (Neil) for "insufficient postage." The hilarious part is, he used the SAME DAMN EXCUSE on the SAME PEOPLE quite a few times. Either Neil is really stupid and mailed the same packages without enough postage multiple times (!!!) or, more likely, he assumes his customers are so stupid they will swallow his bullshit, time and time again. Most likely, bullshit comes so easily to Neil that he can't remember what he said to who.

I think you can find a way to communicate with the certain individuals that you have unfinished business with in private as opposed to openly attacking them in a forum, Neil. It was unnecessary and unprofessional.

If someone was going to be a con artist, you'd think they'd choose something more lucrative than niche fetish videos.

No one thinks he's making a living off the ripoffs or that it's a planned thing. It's more like a case of longstanding, ongoing incompetence and excuse-making. But there are now six other people besides me who have testified on the thread I started that they were scammed by Neil. I don't think he deliberately scammed us, but the simple truth is, all of us sent him many, many emails, and all we got were unfulfilled promises, crappy excuses, and ridiculous stories about "insignifcant postage." And this isn't just one bad year like Neil likes to portray it... he's been screwing people over at least as far back as 2009 (and that year he screwed sgbsgb_1999 over for an expensive custom no less!). Then there were many DVD orders made from 2010 through last year that were never fulfilled.

How "big" of Neil to admit that he owes some orders, once seven people have come forward and said he screwed them. He's a big man alright, and anyone who protests too loudly, he can just dismiss as a troll.

Last year he came on more apologetic (no one had attacked him publicly as of yet), but still, as here, minimizing his five year span of problems to a single year and promising to make good. Then he completely failed to rectify anything. I emailed Neil twice last year, within a two-week span of his UMD post promising to make things right, but somehow Neil just didn't get these emails. Very convenient! An AWFUL lot of unsatisfied customer's emails just happen to "go missing" in Neil's inbox. Now he's trying to blame it on his change of email or his filters or whatever excuse comes easily into his brain.

Neil, I get that "you don't know who I am." You're a BIG MAN in here, or you were, (a bit washed up around the collar now) and I'm just a little shit to you, a troll. And yet I've been a member of this community since 1998. The forum post storage only goes back about 4 years, but during that time I've made 162 posts, which is 158 more than you've got on your account. Look back and see for yourself -- I'm hardly a troll. I buy videos, I participate in a lot of discussions here, I encourage producers whose work I like. You can't look back at anything else I've written and see it as the work of a troll. [It definitely suits your purposes to keep that crisis cloaked in mystery, the better to obfuscate your crappy business practices over the last 5-6 years.]

Many of them have said they had comparable experiences to my own (i.e. sending you many emails, getting excuses and empty promises and form letters back...and in the end, none of us got our DVDs for all that money and trouble).

And then there's sgbsgb_1999, who testified as part of that thread that you screwed out of an expensive custom, circa 2009 (he told me privately he didn't know exactly when that happened,but he said it was right around the time you stopped making new videos, which was in 2009).

Even if you didn't CHOOSE or PLAN to screw people over from the outset, you clearly did it anyway, and quite a few times. I understand it wasn't a PLANNED SCHEME it more or less just LAZINESS or GROSS INCOMPETENCE on your part -- Ooooops! I didn't put enough postage on these DVDS... three times in a row!

Plenty of producers have been run out of the UMD on a rail for fewer transgressions than you can find listed in that one thread I started. Some were, if not run out of town, at least badmouthed endlessly by certain parties forever afterwards. Neil, you've only gotten off scott-free for many years now because all of us who got burned sat there in silence and took it. Which is partially on us, I suppose.

The new PFG owner made good on all your failed 1- to 5-year-old promises to me, Neil, and anyone else who sought him out. He got me download codes for everything that was on the 8 DVDs you screwed me out of. Now THERE'S a good businessman! You really ought to thank him for cleaning up the horrible mess you made of your business. You went over FIVE YEARS and a DOZEN EMAILS from me without delivering what I paid for, while the new PFG owner made everything good within 24 hours of my original post. So I don't need your "help" anymore. You've been rendered officially USELESS (you've been useless in getting me the DVDs I paid for five years running now, but I'm making it official by letting the UMD know about it. And what do you know, a bunch of termites crawled out of your unstable construction in the process.)

So I know this sounds contradictory since I'm posting in this thread, but please... Leave me out of this. That said, I just want to clarify a few things.

I didn't "defend" Neil because I had no knowledge of any of these orders, filled or not. We're friends but we're not business colleagues.
I never had Neil fail to ship a single video order, DVD or VHS. And this goes back to the mid-90's. So when I ordered from him, he was always a stand-up guy, and I've made no secret of the fact that his early stuff inspired me to start SlapstickStuff more than any other producer, before or since.

As I stated before, I can confirm that Neil definitely had health issues. And other extraneous circumstances that don't need to be brought up on here. But basically, we've all been in situations where life shits on you or someone close to you... And when that person is going through stuff, you cut them some slack.

Some of you don't know Neil personally like I do, so I can understand feeling cheated or ripped off when orders don't arrive, extenuating circumstances or not. And so I don't want to belittle the complaints that have surfaced on here. That said, I personally would prefer the injured parties to sort everything out with Neil privately.

Pieromaniac especially... I'm not saying your anger isn't valid. I understand that you want to call Neil out publicly. But I just see this devolving into an ugly flame war that doesn't benefit anyone in the long run.

I don't want to speak for Neil personally, but every time we talked in recent years, I got the sense that he was basically done with WAM altogether... The shoots, the community, the site... and the sale of PFG just finalized it. So the fact that he's back on the UMD posting, and trying to make amends, should count for something.

I understand that for some of you, it's too little too late. Or not nearly enough. Again, I'm not trying to belittle any valid complaints you have. I'm just saying that a true "con artist" would never make contact with the "marks" he swindled. Neil's back on here with nothing to promote and nothing to gain, basically saying, "Yeah, I screwed up, but I'm gonna try to make it up now."

p.s. Just read the last Pieromaniac post he made while I was writing this, and good to know that the new PFG owner is taking care of the lost orders. I really do truly hope this gets resolved for all involved.

If any of you have outstanding business with Neil, you need to make your case ASAP. Copy BOTH of us so I can try to help. I'm helping where I can, but it's been out of his hands for a full year now. I haven't received many emails from people still being owed items until the latest threads came up. These guys had clear, legitimate, extremely well documented cases, and I've help as best I could.

Since it's been out of Neil's hands for over a year now, please consider this your notice that if you have any unfinished business, it needs to come to both of our attention right now, as Neil is no longer aligned to the business, because all that business should be completed by now.

Sounds to me like he is trying to still drum up side business of loyal fans by using these branded profile names and emails. If I were the sole owner I'd put an end to that quickly!

I too was scammed out of a large DVD order where I received excuse after excuse, if anyhing, for several years. I've since given up on the chance to receive what I paid for, but glad to see others are calling this situation to light.

Great point, Myds. The women come in here to scam us, but if a guy keeps our money, it must be for some other, nobler reason. Say for instance, a spiritual conversion to a religion that believes self-produced pornographic material is only acceptable to sell to others via download; actual hard copies of said material are considered an abomination unto the lord; a true believer may attempt to mail this material to heathens, but only in the event that he or she uses "insufficient postage," guaranteeing the harmful material will never reach the supposed recipient.

Let's use this analogy:

You buy something on ebay from a power seller with a 99% positive rating who's been selling for 10 years. You win a $10 item that never comes.

Do you feel scammed? Yes. It is relevant why the item didn't come? Nope. The seller could have been hit by a bus and is in a coma. It's irrelevant. You either get your item or a refund. It's really that simple.

It's why I try my best to buy everything I can via paypal. If it doesn't arrive I can open a dispute. If the person - who has since been hit by that bus and is in a coma - doesn't respond then I get my money back.

You're right and I love your mindset. I'm just now getting time to read up on this, and so far I see a heated discussion by relatively fair people who are all trying to fix miscommunications, so I'ma let it run. I will move to Off-Topic though, for reasons you mentioned.
