I love the idea of this, the whole "behind the scenes" shot of messy/wet hair, and also them checking it out in the mirror. It's kind of hard to get that angle for shots. I've tried myself with some videos I've shot, but with the mirror I have available and my tub (I'm not adventurous enough to mess outside of that) I can't really get it myself. I did set up a custom with Ariel and Jayce, and they did it a little bit. Now and days I guess it's just easier to set up your camera to "selfie mode" and it's like using a mirror. Not quite the same effect though.

I've frequently used mirrors, both as props and out of shot just so the model can monitor themselves (easier to clean than a real monitor).
Pictures 1-4 are from *'Alice and the Mad Splatter' and 5-8 from a custom called 'Crowned Clown', both starring the former Mrs T.
*My collaborator and I reckoned this was the messiest film (in terms of quantity, variety and extremity) with a solo model ever made - the last pic (4th) was only halfway through!
