We I used to buy a lot of videos. My first video was from MPV and still on VHS. A lot from Messy Fun and all the British producers.
But since some time I'm buying less and less videos.

Also, you're just talking about watching WAM. Which for us is often times like watching pornography. You become desensitized to it. I have a decent collection, and I try and buy from the people I love to help support them. But I find I have more than I can possibly watch anymore. I also try and not masturbate as much either, which is hard when you haven't had sex in years. But it helps make the times I do, that much a better release. Also reduces chafing.

Leila was a huge one too, but has had to scale back her operations due to her health. It's the ebb and flow of time. Need new blood. Most new blood isn't that interested because of how easily their shit gets picked off and reposted, over and over and over again.

But yeah, Ariel and Jayce are out there every single year, for the past 20 in Ariel's case. Got a specific outfit you want, message her, send it to her. She'll do it.

Finding new models on the other hand isn't always easy. Jayce laid out in another forum why so many black women don't really dig WAM because of their hair.

People are always on the look out for new models though!

When I first started coming here, there were a handful of producers and much of the forum time was seeking out "WAM Alerts". Content outside of the UMD and associated sites was nil. Fast forward to today, anyone can become a producer (which is fine), porn streaming sites exacerbate piracy, and new titles come out every single day. There's a degree of saturation, no pun intended, that hasn't existed until this point. That's not saying this is good or bad, but rather it's a reality. But I don't think WAM is unique in that regard. Any niche fetish is probably experiencing the same thing, though we might be a little more organized thanks to this site.

So if you've lost the joy of WAM, maybe step away from digital a bit until you can appreciate it more.

I will say I wish we had more producers like MudMadPhil who's Dirty Muse put out some fantastic films that combined WAM and BDSM.

I think we were all lucky for the period when we had Phil's vids! They were of such high production value and amazing on so many levels, they really felt too good to be true.

For me, PieZone is doing the most fresh and innovative work available right now. His vids are unlike anything I've seen in years. And though they been around forever, I really think the Moomins / MostWAM have been doing some cool and different things lately that have caught my attention.

Neither of those producers are very mud focused, though, so you may be right about that.

I don't think there's ever been a wam clip that I've found down the years that has seemed perfect to me, and I've been into this stuff for a looong time. I have favourites that I go back to time after time, but nothing has ever seemed as good as maybe it could have been if I'd been the one holding the camera, filming the model I'd picked, following my own guidelines. So it's my imagination that kind of fills in those "gaps". My libido waxes and wanes of course, but I'd say I'm more into messy stuff than ever before, though it's definitely evolved in ways I didn't expect.

We do still do location mud shoots, we have shot 26 this year, they go onto the site every 4 weeks, along with mud dunk tank, mud tank girls, mud wrestling and muddy baths.
Also, we still shoot most of our wetlook media on location.

I have to say after many years of watching (and even producing) wam, that a lot of it is very predictable. There seems to be a formula.

1. Girl says something or in some way triggers a pie being flung into her face.
2. Girl looks surprised, and after a pause, wipes pie from her eyes.
3. A mysterious source of slime appears, dumping over her head.
4. As soon as slime begins, she looks up at it.
5. All this time, camera is mostly showing her from the boobs on up.

A mud formula also exists:

1. Girl somehow steps into deep mud or clay or peat.
2. Girl struggles and sinks deeper and deeper.
3. Girl panics while the mud slowly pulls her in deeper.
4. Girl eventually goes completely under, presumably to die.

Slime formula:

1. Girl is in chair (usually white)
2. Slime or gunge falls from a bucket above, or from a tank above.
3. Lots of slime hits her head and lands far from her.
4. Girl may look up at what is falling
5. Slime flow stops, girl is still seated and looks at herself.

Now, these may be formulas that sell, but to me I get a bit tired of the predictable same old routines. Every now and then something different comes along, and it may be along the lines of what I like. But even that would get tiring if repeated all the time. Same scenario, different model.

I like when a wam scenario appears where I am totally surprised, and it also has to be specifically the style of wam I prefer. Yes, I know I can get customs done. But I think if some producers changed things up more, they'd hit on things some of us would love to see. For example, pies always go to the face, the sides of the head, or the ass. Sometimes the boobs. What about hitting some other areas? Thighs, sides, stomach, back, etc. are good examples. Of course some would also hit the face, but changing things up would be fun and surprising. Just a suggestion to those following the predictable formula.

Also, if a producer tries something new, they sometimes keep doing that new thing, adding it to their predictable routine body of work. Then it's no longer new. We need some new ideas to be produced, and some producers do a good job at trying to do that, while others stick to the routine.

I have posted multiple times asking people with the power, money and time who make these videos to stop using GENERIC CLOTHING and start using LATEX.

Latex is expensive, maybe if you send some to a producer for a custom you can get the ball rolling. Also, I'm pretty sure there have been producers here that have used latex before (see Leila).

Again, Ariel and Jayce will produce damn near anything you can possibly imagine within the laws of physics if you fund them. Otherwise, each producer generally makes what THEY like, or what sells for them.

we call our drenchme store "variety wetlook" bc that is what it is. same goes for our own stores. even my OWN productions that are not customs are usually something different bc it is something i have dreamed about trying and then i finally get the money saved up to do so!! variety is good but there are a lot of people on here that have their "tried and true" stuff they dig. and that is cool too! i have a lot of love for a lot of the producers on here that do that bc they stick to what they love...and they make no apologies for it and they do a fantastic job at it.

we do mud shoots in front of a whole crew of guys working at a rock and dirt place. driving by, stopping and watching and then washing off in the river right beside a bar that is parked on the river, people go by on boats watching us!! about as real world as it gets. or fishermen are sitting there fishing while we are naked and getting clean!! haha! we have taken some pics with a few people! lol

I'm excited for the future of WAM. You're seeing more vanilla stuff which will probably create the next generation of kinksters, like it did for many of us. Producers are still producing, my book is getting some attention. If we could curb the piracy maybe some smaller producers would stick around. Otherwise all is good.

I like to think I provide the opposite of boring. I don't do mud, so I don't really cater to your niche. But with regard to location, I've shot in abandoned prisons, on public beaches, in the middle of the desert, AT THE GROCERY STORE, an abandoned zoo, by the golden gate bridge, and lots of other fun locations. I also work with very non-traditional models. Very little girl next-door look with MessyHot. My art does center on cake/food mess, but is bright and colorful. When I compare my content sales in the WAM circuit with content I produce for other porn genres, it seems my problem is that I'm NOT boring.
