...

But he didn't say which year...

So how does this work? Do all the "forum fucks" (Ariel's words, not mine) just move up one spot? I'm sliding into 7th. Seriously come back. See I don't just look at the pictures, I really do read the articles...

I can appreciate that some of Regis' comments might have been a bit shocking to brand new users, but to me at least it was always obvious that he was posting in jest as the forum joker, and personally I thought he did a damn good job of it. I certainly wouldn't have thought any of his posts should be deleted, and I am going to miss his unique blend of gallows / kidnapper humour.

Do you think if we had several models sitting in the mud while singing "We - Love - We - Love - Regis! - Regis!" to the tune of Queen's "We Will Rock You" he might come back?

I'm kinda hurt I wasn't thought of!

I never will understand people. But I'm happy I dropped the idea, when I was a kid, of going to a monastery.

Of course, the wine is terrific.

Agreed. I really hope he comes back too and, like you, my guess is that he's lurking and seeing these posts.

As DM says above, it was quite clear Regis's remarks were only in jest - he wasn't insulting, just funny

I totally read that in a stern mom voice!

Well this site is going to suck now. I came for the titties but stayed for the perverted witty comments

Can't shake the feeling like I had something to do with it somehow. But that's my own insecurity, and thinking way too highly of myself.

Yes it is all your fault damn it Potatoman. LOL. That is if you held a lighter to Regis's life size cut out of nude Bea Arthur and forced him to leave.

Still nothing... I'm getting nervous. Christmas won't be the same without him.

Dave

Turns out this thread is evergreen.

That's not entirely true.

Well, anyway, do you have any insight into the cause of the most recent Rexit?

Not yet I don't, but I from what I've heard so far, it IS permanent.

Feel like I've missed something, has he done something like quite badly wrong?

Nah, I think he's just taking a break from things. I think it's quite healthy. It does us all good to disconnect for a while sometimes.

Not so. On the 'negative custom review' thread, Messmaster said 'I removed him from the site. He will never be welcomed at UMD again.'

I know no more than that.

Nor have I. But given the other shit he's had to deal with this holiday weekend, I'm not really going to press MM about it right now.

There's another thread on this subject in the main forum, although it's not obvious it's about Regis from the title.

Still, one thing that is the same is that none of us who've posted there have any idea what's gone wrong either!
