i had a sitter for the little one, i needed to be back home, i could only get one for yesterday afternoon. they wanted me to stay one night but i had them give me some less strong pain meds so i am not completely obliterated on meds and keep my wits somewhat about me.

im in a ton of pain. its hard to even get in and out of bed but i ate yesterday like CRAZY. i dont know what they gave me that made me EAT and my throat hurts pretty bad from intubation. but i will get thorugh it. i have no idea when ill be able to get out of this bed without horrible pain. they said the 3rd day will be the worst adn then it should go down bit by bit.....just depends. i see the doc again on tuesday so im looking for a ride to post op.

THANK YOU ALL for your lovely commetns and texts adn emails i am very grateful i havve tried since i woke up to get little dude ready at 5, to not take pain meds but i just had to bc i have had to get up a few times.

but i am attempting to not take them at all but its pretty harsh. i had them switch mine bc they had me prescribed 40 dilaudids. i asked them to please give me something less strong bc i am home alone. so they gave me oxy codone, percocet, whatever. i dont have coffee. thats a big bummer at the moments. haahhahaha.

but i need to rest. i keep just nodding off and waking up in a pile of my own slobber lol. bc i am not allowed to lay down yet.

that was another reason as well.

i would have stayed overnight and had them bill me for it.....to be safe but i asked the doc permission to leave bc of my little bit needing me. he gave me some strict instructions and his personal cell number so i can contact him whenever i need to. i woke up this morning and looked uner some bandages and started freaking out.

so i probably shouldnt do that again until more healing comes. sheeeewww that was scary!

yeah he forgot to put the parts where i offered unreleased and FREE sex vids, vids people wanted in my store and all kinds of shit for FREE if anyone bought anything off mywish list.....he forgot to quote that. that middle finger pics was for him if you dont like what you read or me? stay off my forum post. I can't believe you didn't even stay for one night. You are one tough lady. I know your pain because I will be going in for my 4th bad mesh related repair surgery the end of Oct. I have always stayed for 3 or 4 night. They say the new mesh is way better than the old stuff now. Hopefully this repair will be your last one and mine too. You never see my belly scars because I am always covered in a sooper thick layer of mud. Which I hope to see you in soon. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Dilaudid is of the devil. I didn't know you could even get that in pill form. I've only ever gotten shots of it, and only ever in the hospital. The first one erases EVERYTHING, pain, emotion, judgment, you name it. It scares me how when I get that, a doctor could come in and say "we're going to saw your leg off", and I'd be totally cool with it.

But then you get to the third or fourth shot, and you really start to take notice of the diminishing returns. Then there's the withdrawal, which might make you feel like you'd rather be in the pain.

As for sleep, a recliner is your best friend. I slept in one for 4 years straight when the Crohn's was at its worst. You'll get used to it.

Be careful with that stuff and only take it to relieve pain and help healing.

There are several ads on Newsradio 780 and the local cut-in on cable for lawyers looking for patients who are suffering because of Exalto, Only take it for relief and follow-up with the surgeon.

Just don't get addicted to pain meds! They'll cause your WAM budget to take a hit!!!!

Well, buying stuff from her store will help her with her Papa John's Addiction.

thank you all for all the awesome love and whatnots. last night was probably the worst. so today? since i have not slept, i may be typing this?? i may not....im a little foggy. but i am not taking pain meds. hence, causing sincere lack in sleep. took one at 3 am and all it did was just help calm me down a bit i still couldnt sleep and OMG I WISH I HAD A RECLINER. my bed sits pretty high so its hard to get in and out of.

where the mesh was? i have three different sites that were cut open and ONLY the site where the mesh was dug out in CLUMPS.....(and this was a newer mesh, i got it put in just under 2 years ago i believe it was. spring of 08?) anyway, THAT is the site that is giving me the most pain. omgosh. anyway, i am meditating and going to try to eat. i havent eaten a "meal" so that needs to come. i wish you could like "rent a recliner" i swear id be all over that! haha!

but thank you all. Its still a hard road, and i am trying not to be angry at the doctor who did this to me...everytime i sit up or even move and feel that horrific pain...man, it makes me WANT to be angry....but im trying really hard not to be. To just know that all things will be okay. and thank you all, again for all the awesome comments and emails and love!

i will release some really cool shit as soon as i can sit in the computer chair long enough

and i am so sorry if you have had to deal with mesh as well. it was mesh and muscle repair and all kinds of shit but the mesh was a bad bad deal. i hate that for you. im so sorry. you are in my thoughts.

papa johns has cinnamon pull aparts i would kill for. they are the best things ever bc i am prettty sure they are made with angels hands and bacon grease stuck together by sugar and cinnamon. lol. fucking delicious.

yes it has been quite the rollercoaster of shit.

ive lost dear friends to death and just life in general. this injury made it to where i could not hardly teach anymore because training was so painful.
but i am getting better! i took a pain pill at 8 am yesterday morning bc i had a horrible night of it....but i decided after that, i was going to opt out of taking anymore. I have not been sleeping and those painkillers would only work WELL for a couple of hours. no sense in it....so i have been meditating, catching up on stuff with my lil friend being so busy to prepare for this got me behind on my most important things in life so, this gives me a chance to really look inward. when you are down for the count, and alone, man...its a great time for some self improvement! self realization is a bitch and also beautiful at the same time.

anyone dealing with body issues or having things done that lower your self esteem, or you just realize that you got some fucked up shit going on....or are in PAIN? i am so sorry. I swear i think about all of you and all that have commented telling what they are going through. thank you for sharing because i am spreading the love back! I have dealt with this pain for months and now i am having to be in pain to get out of pain and it is mentally daunting. I truly, truly send all the love I have for anyone dealing with physical or emotional pain of any kind.

Glad you are on the road to recovery, Jayce.

I know what you are going through. I've had three minor surgeries in the last month to de-clot my dialysis access point. That combined with dialysis 3 times a week and doctor's appointments means a good amount of time in medical facilities.

I hope you have a full and speedy recovery, and can get back to being wet and messy real soon.

You doing OK?

I understand not wanting to take pain pills, but maybe you would feel better if you decreased the dosage. Ask your doctor. Also, there's a drug called Tramadol that is a synthetic opiate that is better than the OTC pain killers but has much less strength than the typical oxycodone and other things. It's commonly used a few days after surgery as a step down. So ask and see what the doc says.

I know your take on recliners. When I am in pain like from my back I do better in a recliner.
