I've been following this thread, and all I have to add is that I'm very disappointed.
I'm not comfortable knowing that a producer who is a convicted sex offender is allowed to do business here on UMD, and half the thread is defending him or spreading fear like if you look at a woman funny you'll get hit with SA charges. Please educate yourselves how broken the Justice system is for survivors, and how the percentage of those maliciously lying is absolutely minuscule while those who don't even bother reporting or get the charges dropped or no punishment at all is beyond sickening. Courts don't favor women actually.
I debated if I should even contribute at all. Why would these people who are equating sexual assault to a mistake like filling out paperwork wrong is a mistake, or comparing sexual offenders to those wearing gold stars in an obvious holocaust reference like it's a slippery slope to other potential sex offenders on the site?
Am I missing something where people who violate consent and commit assault and worse are the real victim here? I'm sorry, but what? Please listen to yourselves and hear how ridiculous you sound.
Also, it irked me so so much to see autism, adhd, and mental health being used as excuses for assaulting someone. They aren't. Most people with one or all of the above don't struggle not to touch someone without their consent. How have most of us avoided assaulting anyone this far? It really shouldn't be that difficult. None of those are an excuse for being misogynistic or abusing power or committing a freakin crime. Stop giving all of us neurodivergent folk and those struggling with depression and anxiety a bad name, thanks.
Y'all know that unless a new federal law in the US that forces it, UMD doesn't take personal info from general users, and producers and verified users have their data stored offline. However, when a producer account is found to have committed a crime that puts the safety of the community at risk, I would hope action is taken to show that that behavior is not welcome or acceptable. Personally, I hope that there are consequences and that this user is banned. The message of allowing someone who has shown they have abused their power and did something entitled and disgusting sends is not a good look. At all.

Like people say where does it stop, are you going to hate on the models who in person are comfortable working still when they know what has happened ?
Poppy says be kind x
You've lost faith in a community because people want the women who appear in the content we enjoy to be safe from sexual predators?
Behave.
Your concern is the impact this has on revenue streams into MostWAM. That's your priority. And it's clear that MostWAM, sadly, is quite a shady operation.
"Be kind"? How's about you take a leaf out of your own book? MostWAM should have removed Leon from operations and been transparent about the situation. You'd have seen kindness then. Instead, you hid a sexual predator and continued to work with him in the exact environment that he offended within.
Absolutely rancid.
I lost faith in the community when I saw the response on this thread. Because people are hating on everyone involved not just Leon.
Mostwam isn't a shady operation it's the most professional wam business there is and many know that, no company is perfect, but this as mentioned many times was handled with by the police and the courts. Is that not the proper way?
We didn't allow it to continue, we put procedures in place and hired a HR company, have a 90 page handbook written about guidelines for working for us. That's probably longer than most company's guidelines.
Leon's involvement is mostly as a director, he isnt actually that involved in a lot of filming. It's mainly Lisa and me that are running things 90% of the time.
It's easy to say I'm fighting for my income, of course I am. I worked hard for it for the last five years to keep the business going through my efforts and hard work. Those who have met me or know me know I work hard at MW. Why would I not. It's not fighting for a bad cause because an incident happened and was dealt with. This happened and people feel comfortable for work to resume. And people are safe.
So, the company is still being directed by a convicted sex offender, whose offence took place on company time with a model paid by the company.
You seem to be failing to recognise that a lot of people are horrified that MostWAM didn't see that removing Leon from the operation altogether would be the right thing to do. And then some standard decency. Being transparent about it with your customers, so they can make their own decision on whether they're happy to carry on being customers in light of what happened and what measures were then put in place.
You're a fetish company at the end of the day. Your director is on the sex offenders register. It might not be a problem for some, but it clearly is for other and some women are that horrified by you, your response, and the response of some of your Stans, that they've decided to leave this platform.
I get it, we've all got bills to pay. But you've all decided to stand by and hide a sex offender. You're going to upset a lot of people by making decisions like that.
My thoughts are with Leon's victim and any other potential victims he's been involved with. And I'm also thinking of other women on here who've had to listen to the excuses, lies and abuse directed at them for their concern that a sex offender has been allowed free reign in this community that is supposed to be a safe space for us to explore our sticky kinks.

I know it feels like you're being persecuted here for the crimes of others, but aside from OP making an accusation towards you and Lisa, no one else is hating on everyone involved at Mostwam. No one else is even hating on Leon. We're just trying to help him understand that he needs to step away from the company at the moment to work on himself. The good news is, people can change; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buK45NW_ikI

This is great. May I ask, what does it say in the 90 page handbook regarding hiring a photographer/director who has been convicted of sexually assaulting a model? I imagine it says that someone like that shouldn't be hired or around models, right? Or perhaps we need to look into getting a 91 page handbook?

Now just remove the other 10% (i.e, Leon), and we've got ourselves a scenario where people can feel comfortable supporting the business again.
That it's taken 3 days and 9 pages of discussion for that to still not be abundantly clear to Leon is just fucking astonishing to me.
Like in any other industry, if someone was convicted of sexually assaulting an employee, they would be forced to step away for the good of the company and the people involved at it (i.e, you and Lisa and the models).

I have withheld from responding to your previous posts because I feel fucking awful that Leon has put you (and the rest of the Mostwam team) in this position.
The fact that he has not taken any of your well being into account at all when deciding how to respond to the revelation of his sexual assault conviction here is unfortunately indicative of his behavior regarding the entire situation; selfish, foolish, careless, and concerning.
That behavior, more than anything else, is why so many of us now feel strongly that he should not be around models and needs to step aside from the business.

There has been no lies.
I don't know how you can say there have been no lies. That's incredible really, given how Leon's story changed between Friday and yesterday and there's been plenty of dishonesty away from that too. Not being transparent with your customers over the continued presence of a registered sex offender's involvement in your sex driven business is dishonest.

Agreed. I have faith that MM is working overtime to analyze and understand the situation, assess the legal/contractual and other ramifications most of us haven't started to consider, and map a course that ensures the UMD's viability and credibility into the future. Of course there are members who wish this unfortunate situation could resolve faster, and I wish that, too. But when blindsided by an unprecedented situation with so many producers' and models' livelihoods potentially affected, getting it RIGHT is critical. I trust that MM is working, probably as I type this, to get it right, to ensure the safety of every UMD member.
To all the lovely ladies of the UMD, and especially to the lovely Penny Banks, Kelsey, Creamy, and Candy Custard, thank you for your excellent, insightful posts. (And Penny, I'm sorry you've had personal experience in this area).
I hope y'all will stick around and continue giving us mess addled, but well mannered lads your company. But, guys, we need to take note, and act right. Communication is the key, if you're with your girlfriend, if you found a model to do a film session with, if you found a hooker who will suck your dick and let you pie her, communicate, please!
And if you mis-read a situation, and smack an ass you shouldn't have, or squeeze something she didn't want squeezed, just apologize, for Christ's sake. That will prevent a lot of problems before they start!

This is a cop out Al. This is a sexual assault case. This is not a separation or a divorce or a break up or an issue with family. You can't hide behind it is a personal matter or it is your job to figure out that a sex offender is trying to sell you something. Responses like this are reasons some of us question the company as a whole.

Don't do that. The model exposed something someone in the company should have disclosed right away. Attacking this model is disrespectful. She isn't here feeding information. If you have read the 9 pages it is obviously that people are drawing conclusions from what Leon has said and the way the company has acted by not disclosing.
So ask yourself if the girls in the real world here in person understand what has happened, one knows the girl, and are happy to work for us, is it really as it seams?

It looks like there's been some kind of decision: the MostWAM and CustomWAM stores are no longer listed here. (Presumably there will be an official announcement in due course.)

This bothers me as well Al, trying to show distrust in the victim. I don't see what kind of possible reason she would have to lie. There was no reason for you to add this comment and it comes off as blaming the victim or making excuses.
What bothers me too is you keep saying Mostwam is more than Leon. Well, remove him and continue, it is a simple answer and yet you haven't done it yet. If it is a whole group, get them all together come to a consensus to move on from Leon and make a statement you are and the complaints will stop. If there are issues with transferring ownership, MM will gladly help on this side.

Stop with this blame the whistleblower narrative. You all would have been perfectly fine operating without anyone knowing. That is FUCKED UP!!!! How the fuck any of you did not think to tell at least MM is beyond me. Hoping you can still grab money before people find out. If it was not that big of a thing as you are trying to make it out to be then why thee fuck hide it??!!
Sorry, but this is a terrible idea for Leon, and I hope he's not stupid enough to do this. If Leon ever wants to get this overturned, doing this "confession post" will screw his chances.
Also, legal factors aside, I would caution Leon from apologizing to the mob [this is not directed at any one person, but "the mob" in general]. The cancel culture people are NOT interested in your confession. All they want is to DESTROY you. These people do not believe in forgiveness or redemption, they just want to see you suffer and die. If you are really innocent, do not bend the knee. Once you bend the knee, they will just capitalize on that and attack you even more.
I was out for the weekend and shit blows up. I gotta requote myself because my post was so prophetic. I skimmed through the last few days. Observations:
1. More producers coming out against Leon. Interestingly, I noticed all are women.
2. More simps coming out to virtue signal, with all the "moral outrage" you'd expect from the mob. Self-congratulatory remarks of being "stunning and brave". Yes, it's so brave to be at the front of the mob (sarc). Great courage (sarc).
3. Collectively they now want to witch hunt not just Leon, but all his associates. That includes Lisa, Al, the company, people who spoke up for them.
4. Apparently, these folks keep harping on the fact that Leon is convicted of his crime, but clearly forget that he pleaded guilty (which means there was no trial by jury). Also, he was punished for his crime, but somehow he and his associates needs to be punished more.
I have just read all 10 pages of this and I can tell you now as a previous worker at most wam- I joined in April 2022 and was N O T notified of A N Y wrongful activity on Leon's part and then in M A Y 2022 Leon took 5 models including me away on what was supposed to be a work trip to Crete and was having a 'relationship' with one of the models. When I confronted him he said it was a mental connection however none of us were aware of this 'mental connection' and it was a very uncomfortable situation for us being stuck in another country with this going on in our villa. I then learnt about the guilty plea as Leon admitted to the girls who didn't know. We were stuck in a foreign country with him at this point. I was mortified to say the least, it's absolutely disgusting how the girls got treated after this trip as none of us got any hours because we disagreed with the whole situation. HR got involved but then told Leon ALL of our statements and I don't believe it was even a real HR. Still to this day 5 months later they have just told me the studio is quiet and no work, I am on a 0 hour contract so I feel like my voice was silenced and now I want it heard he should NOT be running this kind of business!!!!
MostWam AL said: We havent been give than option for leon to just leave MW or the site.
He could have removed himself rather than letting it get to this point where the whole MW crew suffer.
MostWam AL said: So its fucked more people, of course i feel for the victim but that has been dealt with by the court now the mob are harming more peoples lives than they think.
Only one person is responsible for how many people "its fucked".
UMD was always going to find out and convictions for sexual offences by their nature will have consequences for people other than the offender and their victim.
I can't help but think there could have been a different outcome had it been addressed proactively head on when the court case happened rather than reactively when "the mob" found out.

What?! Someone pleading guilty is somehow less guilty than someone who was found guilty by a jury? Do you understand what is meant when someone pleads guilty? It means they admit that it happened and accept that they did it.
This is not 'more punishment', this is simply a consequence of sexually assaulting a model that people (quite rightly) don't want to associate with that or have that person peddling their material on this site.
Please stop with the attempts to cast this as some 'liberal woke vendetta'. This is the consequence of a criminal sexual assault that someone admitted doing in court.

Please everybody give me time to wrap up loose ends with the entire situation with MostWam. I'm reading and responding to a constant stream of inbox messages while attempting put together a proper, thoughtful response to this that has big ramifications for future policy and the protection of this community.
Can everybody please just stop and take a deep breath. I won't let you down.
I've been on UMD from almost day 1, this thread is possibly the worst I have seen from users.
To all those who think Leon should stay because "he was in a bad place" or "he isn't a serial abuser" or in fact any argument at all, please think on this:
1. What is your line before you would ban him, and why are you ok with molestation and what you deem 'lesser offences'?
2. If it was your daughter or son who came home to you after a day of work, and looked at you and said they had been sexually molested, how would you want it treated, in the judicial system and on these forums?
It's not about you. It's always about the most vulnerable and how we can protect them.
I won't be replying to the sex-offenders in potentia who will no doubt jump on this, calling me woke etc because I have some empathy, but I'm sure you will be proud of your keyboard warrior prowess.

Yes. I am "pleading guilty" to my traffic ticket today as a matter of fact. I am "pleading guilty" because the fine is less than the fees that I would have to pay to get a lawyer to fight it in court, and also because the ticket would not be on my driving record. I am "pleading guilty" because in the cost benefit analysis, the ROI for fighting is too low, and those who designed this system knew that to be true.
Are you born yesterday? Only guilty people plead guilty?!

1. Nothing. It's not our job to police people. We have a legal system however flawed it may be for that purpose. The legal sentence did not ask for a ban from UMD, or Leon to step down from his position in the company, or ban him from his line of work.
2. A fair process that relies on facts not feelings. And if we don't have enough facts to win the case, ok sucks to be us then!

2. More simps coming out to virtue signal, with all the "moral outrage" you'd expect from the mob. Self-congratulatory remarks of being "stunning and brave". Yes, it's so brave to be at the front of the mob (sarc). Great courage (sarc).
Do you produce content? Are you in close contact with models who trust you with their safety? Or really any women at all?
If you were, maybe you'd understand how serious this is and how disrespectful it is that someone would use their position of power to sexually assault those in their employ. Leon, Anglefan, any other so-called "producer" who does this sort of thing pisses on the hard work that actual professionals put into their visions. The offenders don't look at WAM or videography as a fun creative pursuit that can lead to great things and better professional relationships. They just use it as an avenue to take advantage of people and get what they want without their consent. Any producer who does things the right way and would sooner close up shop permanently than abuse a model has a right to be disgusted by them.
And any "fan" with an ounce of respect of the women they claim to like would be offended that these women can be abused in the creation of your content with no consequences for their producers.
You're being an ass, as much a simp for your fake-tough-guy "based" ideology as you accuse others of being for simple respect. I hope the sex offender gives you some free videos, though. You sure put in the work for them.
As_pie K said: I don't know how you can say there have been no lies. That's incredible really, given how Leon's story changed between Friday and yesterday and there's been plenty of dishonesty away from that too. Not being transparent with your customers over the continued presence of a registered sex offender's involvement in your sex driven business is dishonest.
Obviously you are not ready or understanding what is being said. Are you just stiring the pot?
I've totally understood what's been said and how the story from Leon has changed from the beginning to where it ended, thanks.

No, I am not a producer and I have no experience working in the adult entertainment industry.
What I do have... is perspective in seeing witch hunts like this in my day job, for even way more frivolous things. People are getting ruined by mob rule, and it's always the extremist 1% that stirs shit up and destroys it for everyone else.
I'm sick of it, and unlike my day job where I risk losing my salary if I speak out (so yes I am still a coward), at least here on UMD, I can speak freely for myself, bu also for others who cannot.
