In reality, a producer or director really have no business being in their own shoots. It would be like a porn director yelling cut, and then taking over for the male talent in the shoot. The site is called Messygirl not Messygirl and Guys. You will never see a full face shot of me or any male in a Messygirl production. We have MG revenge for that.

As for sexual touching of the models. I always ask in advance what is appropriate and not appropriate with my hands on them. You will never see me feeling up on models arms, backs, legs or faces, and having them believe I'm trying to "arrange" the mess on them. The producer(s) that do that, who are you trying to fool with that move? I've seen the videos. :ahahah:

No i dont mind, i like it even more when they are funny and add to the sketch. Filthy Rich is comedy gold and big shipper as the waiter for Mrs. Bee and Messy Kay was a riot.

An arm here or there or even a co-ed scene where the producer gets dragged into the fray is no big deal for me, and in a couple of scenes it's even been kinda sexy since it was clear the model was into the producer (I'm looking at you, Rich of SlapstickStuff, I swear you must get more pussy than catnip ). However, several years ago there was a very big producer here who shall remain nameless but in literally every. single. video. he ever did, you could hear him whispering to the model off camera. Not only was it creepy and irritating, but more often than not he sounded pissed off at the models he was directing. Complete turn off.

Full disclosure: Even when I'm mostly off-camera, I like having a certain measure of "control" over the scene, which is why you'll see me throwing or smushing pies even in some two-girl scenes. If the girls are really into clobbering each other (see: the sisters in SS106) then I'll stay 100% out of the way! But if the pie hits are weak (I mean, I LOVE Carrie, but after 5 volumes she still can NOT pie someone well....) I'll take over. It's usually a judgment call.

I used to appear in scenes more prominently in the early days, when the style was very comedic and script-driven. As the community (and even my audience) has mostly abandoned that style, I tend to stay off-camera when I can. The new Breana secretary scene, for instance, is a pretty well-scripted scene in the "classic slapstick humiliation" style, but I made sure to cut it where "the boss" (me) is always off-camera and you only hear the voice. It just seems to make the scene better for the largest amount of people.

That said.... I've had 2-girl scenes that haven't sold, and I've had solo clips where I'm definitely in the scene and they sell like hot cakes. It's not as cut-n-dried as "female-pieing-female good, male-pieing-female bad." (But it IS cut-and-dried that a 2-girl scene will ALWAYS be more pricey than a solo scene. Usually twice as pricey, for obvious reasons!)

In a perfect world, I would have a female assistant who works for free, is always available for shoots, looks good in a tight skirt, and has better pie-throwing and cake-smashing skills than I do! And you would NEVER see me on-camera again! Unfortunately, in this existing world, you're stuck with me for a while longer......

In case you're wondering, all those instances were spontaneous. There was no behind-the-scenes discussion beforehand. When I'm getting dragged in, I'm as surprised as anyone!
More power to Mr. MG, though, for grabbing boobs in multiple shoots AND working out the level of boob-grabbing in advance! Believe it or not, I have NEVER touched a model's breasts in any shoot (well over 200 now)... Not even with Kylie, who basically walked around my house naked the entire time....
(And that's not a holier-than-thou comment. More of a "we work with very different models" comment. I wouldn't mind doing some pre-arranged boob grabbing, but it's never even been up for debate!)

I've been pulled in many a shoot and most of it has been captured on video. The first time was when a nude Liz and Amber pulled me in and wrestled me in the mess. Lane was the worst culprit with this. She would actually not do a shoot, unless she knew she could mess me up too. She was the reason we started MG revenge.

Amy has yet to pull me in, but she will always bring it up when we shoot. She is determined to really mess me up she said. So much so, it will more than likely be a MG revenge shoot. I'm scared.

Love these kinds of stories, Mr MG. Was Lane like that from the beginning of working with you, or did her need for revenge come after shooting a number of videos for you?

No way was Lane like that in the beginning. At first, she was just like any of the other models. Then after about a year, I developed a very cool model/producer relationship with her. The crazy mannerisms in her shoots, was also what she was like in person.

Personally I love seeing a guy mess up the girl.
Don't have to see much - but the occasional hand or body leads the guys watching to 'imagine' it was them doing it.
My advice would be keep doing what your doing so the rest of us can simple imagine and wish we were there .....

YES to all you're questions. Big turn off for me personally to see any part of a guy in my wam, always prefer a woman dishing out the mess.

I only like girl/girl stuff, but I don't necessarily think a guy appearing is a deal-breaker.
But it's not something I'm a fan of - especially if the guy gets "hands on"

God, I hated that! Whilst I prefer men not to be in the picture it's not usually a deal-breaker but that off-camera bad-tempered whispering was a major buzzkill.

I never understood why some producers give directions and feed lines to the models as if they intended to edit them out, but then just left them in. And whispered directions were the worst! Dude, we can hear you!

This is kind of my thinking too. For purely financial reasons, I am often the one dishing out the mess on the "messy photo shoot" productions. (as well as doing the stills photography and managing the tripod-mounted video cameras). You never see much more than the odd hand or arm in the shot, and I am always silent.

I've recently started incorporating bits of footage from a head-cam so that viewers can see the model getting messed up from the perspective of the person doing it. Not released any of those scenes yet and currently the head cam footage is only a small section of the overall footage.

In a few weeks, however, I'm shooting with another model where the headcam will probably feature a bit more heavily. One of the scenes we are talking about shooting will be mainly the perspective of a very shy (and silent and clothed) male wammer (the camera) who has engaged the model for a messy session. She will guide him, handing him things to get her messy with, suggesting where he might pour or place certain items. She will probably sit on his lap and at times get him messy too. The focus will, of course, be on the female model not on the person behind the camera. Most of the time you will just see male hands and maybe a bit of torso or legs.

The aim is help the viewer imagine that they are the ones doing the messing. Given the comments about producers talking and giving direction (something I've never had in any of my videos) and the desire for people to only see glimpses of males in videos what do folks think about the idea of this type of point-of-view approach?

I don't have a headcam but I've done a few videos where I'll film the "overhead angle" so people can see what I see when sliming a model. It's a very unique perspective and you don't really get a sense of it from the traditional footage that films head-on.

In my opinion it's more titillating to have a woman administering the mess, whether it comes from an assistant or another model. There's some concern for potentially lower-quality hits from a less experienced model but I'll take that trade off any time. The biggest buzzkill in a wam scene is when a producer overly features himself.

One thing I've noticed about every WAM site, whether it's male-oriented, female-oriented, etc. is that usually you'll have a specific turn-on or specific set of turn-ons that every producer has that tends to bleed into his/her work and whenever more collaborators get involved or people start to share joint ownership of the website, you'll see more variety.

Different people will want different things, so initially it seems like a good idea to just put everything on a website to satisfy the most customers. What complicates the issue is the fact that people will get turned off by certain images, so putting everything on a certain website becomes less of a possibility because you will inevitably turn people away. So really the dichotomy isn't female vs male, or pies vs slime, or anything like that--the true dichotomy is adherence to a strict set of boundaries and subjects vs a liberal amount of material at the risk of losing customers. Funnily enough, it actually reminds me of real world politics...

I think that the best websites take a Goldilocks approach with this kind of thing--not too much variety, not too little. You go to a website because it appeals to a specific interest, but at the same time the producers want to rake in a broader audience. I think that with things like gender, you need to be strict but when it comes to gunge material you can be a bit more free with it. That way if, say, you want female-female stuff, you go to a specific website and from there you have a wide range of options on your menu.

For things like sexual vs solely humorous, it's a little trickier. But I find that a lot of producers will do both because they have the ability to find actors, and do too separate websites but have them under the same/similar names on a Wordpress or something. I'm more familiar with male WAM but will dabble in female stuff out of curiosity. A good example of this in the male community was uppercrustfilms.com, which focused more on slapstick, and abspecspies.com, which was more sexual in nature. Both sites were by the same producer and some scenes even have the same models doing different types of things. But you could enjoy all sorts of male content and easily trim off the stuff you didn't like.

I think that compared to say, 2008, there is a lot more material to choose from and it really is a wonderful thing. It's gotten to a point where you can demand that it MUST be something ridiculously specific, like it has to be male versus female in the outdoors, both wearing orange tutus, with exclusively lemon meringue pies on a Tuesday and you're still going to be able to find something. That being said, if you get turned off when just one of these factors is missing, or if there are images in the sidebar of all this stuff but God forbid on a Saturday instead of Tuesday, then it is your responsibility to find a way to either block out that content (maybe expand the screen) or expand your mind a bit. Obviously, it is also the producer's responsibility to address the needs of the audience, but there are some particulars that are hard to maneuver around. There's a little give and take from both sides with the producer responsible for delivering and the audience knowing their own limits and being able to offer a little flexibility.

If all else fails, having high quality resolution and editing and having attractive models almost always wins out, regardless of content. When in doubt about the topic, just increase quality.

I've been into the fetish my entire life but still stay out of my own productions, I just don't think of myself as pretty enough to be in front of the camera. I have made the odd appearance in the hosedown scenes as an anonymous boilersuited torso pouring buckets of water over the girls but I keep myself completely out of the main scenes.

For me personally a male presence doesn't necessarily spoil a scene but I prefer all-female scenes. If there is going to be a guy in a scene there should be a sensible plotline reason why he's there, he should look as good as the girls do (slim, long hair, good figure) and he should get as enthusiastically messy as the girls do.

Ages back Erik Elsas did a scene were a boyfriend and girlfriend were soaking each other, in one of the preview shots she was already wet and she was pouring a tub of water into her boyfriends's still dry (not for long!) jeans. That was a cool image because I could imagine me being him and allowing myself to be soaked by her. Well, if I was four stone lighter and 20 years younger, at least.
