This week in the care home we have daily testing in place and I drove to work this morning did two tests and they are both possative. Booked in to do the sent away test for confirmation.
The care home now has so many cases. It's very scarey.
I had went on shift on Friday and the residents had been tested on Wednesday and Thursday no Covid in the home up until the results came back for the residents on Saturday when I had already been in nearly all the infected rooms unknowingly
I started with a terrible headache Saturday and have had that since. Last night my Fibromyalgia pain was bad but apart from that I went to bed. This morning feel a bit tight chested but no cough really, runny/blocked nose. Still have sense of smell cause Safi did a stinky poop lol.
Richard feels a bit fluey and he looks a bit off in the eyes.
Thank you for you kind get well messages

its very hard if you have an underlying issue! take care of yourself!! it lingers either way but you will be okay! try to find some emergen c tea and thera flu tea i swear it works wonders!!! i am thinking of you both! if you need any info, my whole household had it and two of us had underlying issues. please feel free to message me!!!
I absolutely feel for you Obviously I can't say too much about where I work but it is in a similar industry and as all staff other than two of us have now been tested positive I am currently on an eight day lockdown at my work with one other colleague caring for four residents and we will not be going home until Tuesday next week As I said I'm lucky I don't have it but I'm still suffering the consequences thanks for the unique way Many governments I've cocked up the care system Good thing is I'll have five days off if some of the other staff are clear to come back by then roll on the vaccination as far as I'm concerned

Stay safe Chantelle 21 residents have it now and a number of staff
I had the official test back from the drive through I'm possative and Richard is still negative up until yesterday morning.
This thing is spreading so much I still have no Temperature or a cough. I just feel like I have a cold but I feel odd and confused.
Take care everyone. Xxx
I had "real" odd do in April 20. I did the music at wrestling show on show on Sat 20th Mar. Two weeks later (VE weekend) I started with some really strange stuff. The room was moving.Check this, the TV bent in half while watching Darkest Hour. I saw the thing move! Just before, the curtains started shimmering and knew summat was about to hit me real hard! The confusion and the fog I've had. But, check this, I'm wasn't positive, never was?!? Two tests; inconclusive! According to the people I phoned in Plymouth (where I used to work for the Navy with dogs) my body had released every virus it had locked down at once. The doc told me I was suffering a viral jailbreak! WTF!?! They reckoned the new strain of what I had overridden my defences and, happy days for those in jail! The confusion went because I took Lempsip capsules. Get Rich (if he's not positive) to grab some from a shop. I took two a day for three days. Let me know if you get the dizziness, that's mad too! I also showed cold symptoms. That's because you have a cold, a mutant strain. This is why it appeared in Dec19. Winter, lol. Rest, lots of water, stay hydrated and force yourself to eat. Your body needs every ounce of fuel you can shovel into it.

Thank you
I had suspected Covid in April but no test but the same chest I have now but these burning body pains are the worst. I'm my hips and thighs. Safi hasn't left my side since and she is keeping me possative. Rich has a bad cough but swears it's not covid or Asthma he has a test to do so we will see. Yes we have lots of lemsip and paracetamol. The confusion is definitely a thing and lack of concentration Stay safe everyone xx
Yes, the concentration, I wrote a novel after Apr 20, and some of the chapters came over odd. (First-person.) Some made sense, then I seemed to drift on a tangent. There were morning (I like to write first-thing) and my mind felt as it was wading through treacle. I struggled to describe (show) anything. I still get aches and pains, my back and my left hip this morning. Chin-up, it can't be easy working in a care home. The fear of passing it on must be intense.
Hope ya's keeping well. My mam is NHS so she unfortunately picked it up last year and so me and me dad both got it. It can be a bastard to get over but my Dad is high risk cos of his previous cancer shit but he managed to overcome it so hoping same to yous.
That's awful. Thinking of you, with you. My mum is in a care home in Gloucester. This gives your message extra resonance with me. I've not seen her since March. Now the home is closed again to visitors. She's 93 this month. Please get well soon, God Bless You, Peter

I really hope your Mum is OK.
We had visitors over Christmas which was soul destroying because most of us who work there have only been at work or home and had kept Covid out up until last week
Again we don't get paid for being off sick either which is disgusting given I wouldn't of caught it only for working there. Lisa
That really sucks!!! I have been there. I caught it with 6 members of my family right before Thanksgiving. NONE of us had the same experience. The symptoms and everything varied. Take a multi vitamin with magnesium, vitamin D and Vitamin B12. You may also need musanex. I did the Nyquil and Dayquil thing and I am not sure it made much difference. Just let your body ride through it. Sleep when your body feels like it. If you have access to that little green 5 leaf friend it helps.
Summats been nagging me, so I'll have to speak. (I don't want to invade Cinq's thread.)
I'd like to thank Chants and Cinq for helping/caring for people. There's too much negativity on Twitter and other social media platforms at the moment. There's not enough praising of people for doing their part. (In any form.) So my thanks TO EVERYONE worldwide who help others in any form.
