Yes, it's time to host another sploshing event in the North West. Again, it will be held at Townhouse International, Birkenhead (http://townhouseswingers.co.uk/about-us). They were a fantastic venue last year, and I personally frequent the club on a regular basis, so can vouch for the owners and their club. Please don't be put off by the fact it is a swingers/bdsm club - they are very inviting and embrace many different kinks, sploshing included

We have sole use of the club, so no-one else will be party to what we do - no voyeurs or gawpers. They have showers and changing facilities, plus a few chain hotels nearby - why not incorporate the splunch on Saturday and make a weekend of it...?!
There will be silly games, gunge, foam, maybe some clay......lots of fun and nonsense. We have a huge tent, 2 pools, floor pads - all we need is you to make the magic happen.

Interested? Then here's the boring stuff - Cost. To attend this event will cost the princely sum of £30 per person. This is to cover costs of equipment, supplies and hire of the club for approx 6 hours (from 1pm). Bring your own messy stuff if you wish (no savoury please), toys, games that we can play. Wear anything you want (no nudity or mankinis!), get as messy as you want.

Alas, events like this take time and a lot of organising by a single person, so at the moment I am limited to only organising one event a year. However, the Splosh Games in London might be another option for you......

Before I forget, could I please add to Jo's brief list of messy substances *NOT* to bring:- Anything dairy - as it ends up rancid and stinking everything out very rapidly, so that would be pretty anti-social. I'm sure Jo also wouldn't want it lingering in her tent and paddling pools which she'll be having to live with afterwards!

We plan to have gunge, foam, custard, angel delight and some clay. Two pools, one for the clay to keep it separate (last time the mix with coloured gunge and paint made stains difficult to remove). Please feel free to bring any sweet stuff or gunge/foam to make the mess go further, or any water pistols/super soakers we can use

Also, please feel free to spread the word if you attended last year

I think i will aim to attend your event on a future occasion - been meaning to get back up to Merseyside sometime.
Regarding the swingers location i have found it curious as a naturist, swinger and splosher that the naturists don't like sexual behaviour, the swingers don't like nudity away from the play area and the sploshers don't like nudity and sexual behaviour.
One of these days i will hopefully find an event that does all 3.

Incidentally, it wasn't the mix of the clay and gunge that caused the staining. (The staining had already set in long before the clay was introduced.) I think it was the use of the poster paints straight into the foam that did it, as the alcohol in that, rather than the colours being mixed with water, caused the problem as it wasn't then water diluted. (I'd already spotted that when I got pied on the bum and the colour was still there on my skirt (and still is) even after the gungings but before the clay.

The mix of clay and gunge acted as a weird binder which meant that it was just much more difficult than usual to rinse the *combination* out of materials compared with either of the individual gloops, which normally just rinse straight off easily. (Likewise off the pools at the end.)

How are you planning for application of gunge and application of clay to the same person? Will it be enough just to scrape off after one then get in the other? (There may still be a very minor amount of cross-contamination but nothing like last year.) It would be really difficult to choose one over the other - both need to be experienced! Of course, that might mean it's a good excuse to change outfits and start again!

Just back from the event, feeling very tired but very happy. Just wanted to say a big thanks to Jo and co. for organising today as well as the splunch yesterday. Messy events are few and far between so if anyone wasn't sure about attending I can only say everyone was really friendly and a great laugh (really must get some of that special thick stretchy gunge too).

Hopefully, the same again next year.

Well that was brilliant, as ever!!

Who'd have thought it possible to get over a gallon of gunge down the inside of my 4 pairs of tights ... and how long it would stay in there before leaking through as it headed south!! That has to be the best feeling ever, though the 4 pairs of tights were quite useful anyway, given the chilliness of the weather!

Absolutely hilarious time, apart from Tanya bashing her elbow when she slipped. (Hopefully that's on the mend now.)

Looking forward to seeing the pics on a larger screen than the back of your camera, Jo, once you've established who's ok to publish. (My eyesight's not what it was ... it used to be my hearing! Ka boom, tish! )

Did we establish who owned the black pants (male variety) that were left in the shower? I'm pretty sure we did but now I can't remember who owned them.

Having finally managed to get my bag of gungey clothes through the washer this evening (after having to strip the machine and patch up the internal hose that flooded my laundry room the first time I tried, whilst awaiting a replacement hose that's now on order - great timing eh?!), it appears that someone scooped them up into my bag so I now have them here, freshly washed and currently drying.

The gunge blocked my washing machine up as well! I was draining it around midnight!!!

Ha - I've been having a variety of conversations this evening! The T-shirt belongs to Kinkypants and the pants belong to OllyQueen! It sounds like a right old orgy doesn't it?! Lol!

As I said yesterday when I went into the shower, you know you've had a good time when you realise you've got your skirt on back to front and inside out, which I found I had! (It had started off correctly but had been removed, along with the pants I was wearing over the tights, to enable vast quantities of gunge to be poured into my tights more easily.)

The reason your machine probably suffered might be because you were using the non-water-soluble stretchy gunge. That's why I stayed in the other pool with the ordinary gunge and foam. However, it was just unfortunate timing that one of the solenoid-valve-to-soap-hopper hoses chose this moment to split. (Perishing rubber ... literally!) LoL!
