The reason your machine probably suffered might be because you were using the non-water-soluble stretchy gunge. That's why I stayed in the other pool with the ordinary gunge and foam. However, it was just unfortunate timing that one of the solenoid-valve-to-soap-hopper hoses chose this moment to split. (Perishing rubber ... literally!) LoL!

Glad you had so much fun, would love to have joined you but a bit too far of a drive. The new stretchy gunge is great fun but can be a pain to clean. Even with normal HEC or Natrosol gunge its best to rinse clothes out in fresh water before putting them in a washing machine. We normally let them soak in a bucket overnight then wash the following day after shoots.
