Unfortunately I have to share the finding of a pirate on umd. I firmly believe this is in the best interests of the community, so naming and shaming is something I totally endorse here.
This guy 'dm_pain' bought a download from my store and uploaded it on the very same day to a well known adult site. How do I know it was the same guy? Well, he pretty much has the same username for both sites.
Whatsmore, once I rooted him out, he changed his profile here to private within 10 minutes. Not before I took screenshots though.
Now, I have an account on other said site, but I don't share any purchased material/on sale material.
I attached screenshots, as I couldn't directly send them to messmaster- although he is very much aware.
Once again, makes me question why I bothered to reopen my store, never mind uploading new material.
Messmaster, if you need to take this down or if it is in breach of community rules, I apologize and please do so. However, I'm furious at the audacity and stupidity of this guy.

No, don't take this down, FUCKING PIN it PERMANENTLY to the top of the forums as a reminder and example!
I UNDERSTAND the mentality of going to certain free streaming adult sites to watch something rub out a few knuckle children. Some people there actually post their own amateur content.
What I will NEVER understand is the person that actually BUYS content from another producer and then reuploads it. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS!? It's like you already have it, you can watch it, spread peanut butter on your nipples, whatever, YOU BOUGHT IT. Why would you then spread it out for other people you don't even know to get it for free!? Is it so the producer that made it in the first place goes broke and can't make anymore?
No, don't take this down, EXPAND on it.
And person that did this, I hope you pass out with the peanut butter on your nips and wake up to find fire ants all over you.
He's more potato now than man. Twisted and evil.

I hope producers are trying to keep up with these people posting stuff on "the site." There's a ton of stuff there and I'll admit I've notified producers in the past, but I don't feel like doing it full-time. There's so much content from producers it's pretty easy to find your stuff. In a post I made a looooong time ago about death of the download store, well, this may be the start of the end of WAM production if something isn't done.

Sadly, it has been prevalent for years only the means of redistribution has now gotten easier!
It's the most frustrating game of whack a mole.
I wonder if the whole buy a stores entire content, download it, create a card chargeback thing still goes on. I'd be interested to see how much this still happens, MM.
It's also led to a few awkward balloon moments as the missus looked at that site, to get us in the mood, to hear a pirated Messymayhem vid with my voice on it, my camerawork and my piss poor gunging Lisamoomin skills
I was young, I needed to put myself through college.....etc
Btw fella, great to see you back, classic mix of gunge, cute girls with Norn Iron accents does it for me every time. Motorcycle helmet, power shower! So it is...

Just seen this thread and thought I'd say hi xx I'm sure you all noticed my problems this week with one of the stores here selling my stuff Thankfully my partner is very good at hunting down some of these people and he succeeded in a big way today As we speak he is busy with issuing notices of removal on a ton of sites and most have already started complying
I know it's impossible to completely police but every little helps

Messmaster, I appreciate you looking at this, but I don't think moving it to off topic is the best idea. I think this is VERY much on topic for the messy forum. Also, for the public forum. Store owners already know about this shit. However, this is refreshing for the general public to see and know that you can be found out, and it won't be tolerated. Hell, if you CAN, you WILL be prosecuted for this.
Putting it in "Off Topic", and without a sticky no less indicate that we don't care if this fades off into the nether regions of time. Hell, "Panties Preference" and "Donald Trump Squirrel Feeder" already are above this. No offense to those topic posters, because that is EXACTLY what the Off Topic forum is designed for.
This is the SAME thing as shoplifting. No, actually it's worse, because the thief not only stole the product, but duplicated it and passed it out to others...FOR FREE no less!
Please reconsider pinning this, or at least writing your own post and pinning it.
Potatoman-J said: I think this is VERY much on topic for the messy forum. Also, for the public forum. /quote] This topic is extremely important, and one that should be discussed and never ignored. It impacts every aspect of this site, including the stores. However, this is not a messy topic and that's why it was moved.
People want to put very important posts on the Messy forum because it gets the most traffic and is considered the default forum, but I want to move away from that mindset and keep it messy over there. I will make this post sticky, and I could even link directly to this thread from the sidebar or do whatever we need to do to get attention to this, but I want to be more consistent with where things are posted. By the way, Off-topic was not designed for Donald Trump Squirrel Feeder. I hoped that it would be for the intelligent convo and deep discussion that I know this community to be good for. This topic is a great example.
well i just wanna say thank you to all the people who do send me links....to the people who are using the new piracy tips and sendign them to me bc finding them and trying to do it all with doing my own filming, editing, producing, traveling and trying to have a life and eat somewhere along that area.....is extremely helpful. i do think that this is a very important topic. i think it should probably be posted on every forum but i also understand (after a few slaps on the wrist for being my talkative self. lol) that people REALLY get buttered up and angry if their forum post falls down a little. like REALLY peeeeeved. enough to flag your shit and complain on you a bunch so, i can see why m.m. moved it...and also, so that we can stay on topic.................REGIS. lol XD but i just wanna say thank you to all the people who have been helping. i have been giving incentives to those who actually will do the dirty work and fill out the forms for me when i cant....giving my info to a few people who can take down my stuff for me and they get free unreleased stuff or a months membership for how many they get taken down or find or whatever....i am probably gonna bring on two more people to help with this. jay and muddo have been extremely helpful, along with m.m. and i appreciate you alll so much! this is true when i say this: wam productions will cease to be if we cant stop how much piracy is going on. fact. when i first started here, doing my stuff the sales are what got me PAID and i was able to offer WAAAAAAAY lower on customs!! so, people who get customs...think about that as well! when we can actually make money on sales...we can afford to go cheaper on our customs. the whole notion of "well you can sell this video in your store, why cant i get a cheaper custom?" welp buddy.....if i sell two copies then i do not make up for the 100 dollars you want me to take off your CUSTOM video. so guys and gals, anything you can do to help, i am all for it. i think the struggle is real, it will be real and when you all see more and more of your fave producers dropping like flies it will be too late. not trying to sound like "dun dun duuuuuuunnnn" but its fucking true. like, reeeeeeeaaaal true. tooooooo true. thanks for reading if you made it all the way through this. lol thank you to all the people who send me links. i appreciate you all.
Any ideas for how to identify which producer content belongs to?
There are preview pics and there are lots of scenes with the same background so they all clearly belong to the same producer but without posting the preview pics on UMD for someone to identify, I don't know what to do with the links.
I could just submit the links and hope the MM regonises who it belongs to but that seems a bit pointless when there are hundreds if not thousands of videos and identifying who they belong to which is the time consuming part.
Plus I think MM owns allwam.net so he's going to be quite busy for a while as there are hundreds of his videos on the site, I've only bothered to send you a link to one as there are pages and pages of them.
From what I've seen the up loader won't bother removing the copyright screen at the beginning of the film, not always the case but it does make things easy
That would mean downloading from the shit slow file hosting service which force you to go through pages covered in ads so if at all possible, I'd like to avoid that.
Just-visiting said: Do we know who the producer is for this video?
I think it's either Miss T or the Kowalskis, or perhaps Noise as a third choice. The dark-haired model looks very familiar but I can't quite recall her name.
there are a lot of the videos that have a "lock" on them which is literally a picture of a big lock. a lot of people use this so that if you are not their "friend" on there you cant see what is posted....but i can typically find myself behind the lock. the lighting, the shot, whatever....if you look hard enough you can see if its from here. and we have a logo that goes on throughout our vids nowadays.
i am offering to people who send me 50 piracy tips in a months time, either a free months membership or your pick of up to 4 unreleased vids months before anyone else gets to see them
so, just keep that in mind!! and please keep your eyes open. i have gotten a lot of piracy tips that arent mine and the more that i send in that arent mine, the less that this "place" is going to take me seriously. THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE, JAY, IM TALKING AOBUT YOU!!! everyone who has messaged me with the links, make it a TIP !!
I find it sad that people just re-distribute videos and clips on to free sites like pornhub with no consideration. Scenes take a lot time and effort to make and sometimes a lot of money if there is some form of destruction involved, like some clips that involve ripping up expensive dresses or pouring chocolate over them (looking at ya Jayce ).
There does seem to be a sudden surge at the moment, I'm reporting links to various producers far more often in a week than I would like to and it genuinely does anger me.
WAMMYJosh said: I find it sad that people just re-distribute videos and clips on to free sites like pornhub with no consideration.
Oh no, they consider it, and simply justify it as being part of the market. You see there are two kind of people in this world.
1. Someone who doesn't steal something from Walmart (for instance), because they think it's wrong or it simply doesn't occur to them. They just wouldn't do it. Some may even consider the impact such a thing will have on others, or the effects of it.
2. People who don't steal something from Walmart because they are afraid they will get caught. The risk/reward makes it not worth it. There is no thought or concern to the morality of the act.
The former being a person of at least some moral fiber, and measure of altruism. The later being the person rating low in such caliber. They make fine politicians and CEOs. If there were 100% chance that they could kill you with no consequences to their actions, they would do so on a whim if it appealed to their sense of enjoyment.
Jayce, I hate that this happened to you. The way I see it, if you submit a tip on behalf of someone else with proof that the clip was outright pirated, it shouldn't discredit you in the least. You're just looking out for someone else!
As of late I've been helping out as a UMD Copyright Assistant and I tried all the likely keywords but only found one pirated video of yours so far, which you verified. The very fact that you're offering a deal for anyone who finds 50 minimum pirated videos of yours in a month's time really illustrates the depths of this issue.

That's because a lot of them are locked as "private". When you find one, take a gander at the user.
