Heyya! Lifelong fan of messy gameshows here, and I eventually tried my hand at writing some WAM fiction on the now-defunct WAM Story Archive. After writing for a while, it seemed like my fictional characters were having a lot of fun with WAM, so ~~purely in the interest of more authentic writing, mind you~~ I tried the wetlook deal myself and now here I am, meeting up with a UMD friend to create and share messy content on a regular basis. Despite first lurking on UMD.Net in the late Nineties, things escalated quickly as of late.
I enjoy talking with other WAM enthusiasts even if I'm not the best at replying promptly, so drop me a line! Also, if you are in or visiting the Pgh area, it would be fun to meet up! I'm open to having a platonic WAM meet up with anyone of any gender, just for some silly, messy fun.
I'm currently writing scripts for some slapstick comedy a fellow Umder and I hope to film this summer. And I finally have a name for the character I first developed in 2019: Corky, a bit of a wiseacre, tryhard and wannabe tough girl. I wanted a WAM name that hasn't been used before and was a little on the quirky side, and Corky was a childhood neighbor's dog's name.
I also help with UMD's Piracy Tip program as a Copyright Assistant. It's something I feel very strongly about because I've seen other writers (outside the WAM community) have their hard work stolen for someone else's profit. If you have a UMD store or affiliated site and could use help tracking down possible stolen content, lemme know.

Apologies to all for ghosting yinz, I had to deal with some...crud lately in my life. Three weeks ago my dumb @$$ left the garage door open and one of the family cats escaped. I never forgave myself for that one and had to explain it to my 5yo why his buddy was gone, but tonight there was a mighty amount of meowing and pawing at the door and she's back! Tomorrow I'm headed to the vet clinic to treat her.
I'm so happy to have my pal back and ugly-cried when she made her way inside, hissed at our other two cats and went ham on the food bowl. She's purring and cuddling me so hard right now!
Eww, so after cutting some grass, I've broken out in a progressively awful state of poison ivy. Talk about decidedly non-hot oozing and sliminess. I'll spare yinz the gruesome details. Guess Imma be drownin' in an ocean of Calamine lotion, as the old song goes...
If you're hanging out here reading this, your time would be much better spent reading "Megan and the Megaslop Machine" by MessyMaestro. It's an incredible story about a reluctant contestant on a messy gameshow, and no spoilers but my fiction character Todd thought *he* had it bad in the same scenario.

...That awkward feeling when you realize you've left your fictional character in a standoff against a bad guy for close to 8 years. Better late than never, I'm going to finish my "Rose of Deceit" spin-off. Rufus is seriously overdue to become an (anti-)hero.
