apparently Kik has a user limit of 50 so we've moved to ' GroupMe ' so sign up and message one of us and we can send you the link
Do you want to just keep it to attendees or are other UMD members able to join? We had it open for the Vegas group so people could sort of live vicariously through the posts. This especially applied to one poor friend who couldn't come because of the jack ass visa process of the US...

The idea was for it to be just people attending, as it's not on for as long as Vegas. Can open it up though I suppose?
Also anyone who has bought a ticket, I've now pm'd you all the relevant information

Hi Lisa Wow What a great idea and event. I just wish I could be there! Sadly can't get time off work I hope it goes well. Sure it will. Definitely want to go to the next one. Best wishes x
Just leaving the event, that was utterly amazing! Massive thanks to Leon, Lisa, all their regular crew and models, Candy, Henry, Penny Banks, and everyone else involved in helping out at the event. Utterly awesome is the absolute least that can be said about it. Go Moomin!
I've just finished probably the longest shower I've had in a while, after trudging/riding the bus back to my hotel in my wet, muddy pants, because I forgot to put my clean clothes in my backpack, I may have broken my tailbone in the dunk tank, and I'm probably going to be living on ramen for about a year.
And it's all totally worth it!
First of all Leon and Lisa are lovely. Not just because they genuinely seem to love doing this, but they're genuinely nice friendly people.
Second of all, seeing the mudwrestling, pies, gunge tank, etc. live and in person...It's one thing to watch these things on a screen, it's quite another to be there in the room as it's happening, cheering the girls on (even if we are hoping they do poorly at the games (in one case giving deliberately bad advice, sorry Rachel)).
Thirdly, a while back, one of my uber passengers on his way to a DJ gig described it as "the most fun you can have with your pants on." Clearly he never got gunged with Sky sitting on his lap, or mudwrestled with Ari and the other lady (whose name I've forgotten, sorry), then had a wild foam/gunge party with Lisa, Leon, and all the girls.
So...if they do this again in a year or a few, take out a 3rd mortgage, raid the kids' college funds, get acquainted with your friendly neighborhood loan shark. Do whatever you have to to get over here. You won't regret it.
The memories of this day will last long after my tailbone has healed.
Just to echo what other people have said, the whole weekend went really well, so huge thanks to all of the MostWAM team. Going to the pub/dinner yesterday gave everyone a chance to get to know each other, and Lisa/Charlotte made a point of going round the room to chat to each of us in turn.
Today, I was able to fulfil a couple of childhood ambitions by being gunged in the tank and dropping into the dunk tank. (It's surprisingly nerve-wracking to sit on the end of the plank, a bit like standing on a diving board!) I also have to extend my compliments to the chef; while I still favour shaving foam pies, the Moomin pies taste really good!
A couple of funny highlights:
* At dinner last night, one of the MostWAM girls let out the loudest belch I've ever heard, then looked completely mortified. I won't say who, to save her blushes, but I don't think she had anything to be ashamed of.
* Today, Lisa was filming the dunk tank. Just before one person dropped, she warned everyone else that there was likely to be a big splash. This was followed by a wave that soaked her from head to foot (along with the sheet of paper she was holding). Top tip there
Overall, I had a brilliant time, and it was everything I'd hoped for. I don't know whether it will ever happen again, but if it does then I highly recommend going along. At some point I will have to cut off my festival-style wristband, but for now I want to savour the experience.
Firstly, enormous thanks to Leon, Lisa and the rest of the crew for all their efforts. It was brilliantly organised.
All the Mostwam girls were great but a special shout to Cassie who I thought was an absolute star and seemed to really take to there being an audience. And somehow Lisa is even more stunning in real life.
I was only able to attend the first half today and had to slink off but still left with some great memories. Thanks again!
It's taken me about 4 hours just to get dinner and find a train going back to London that wasn't cancelled, I'm knackered, my hair is disgusting, my clothes all faintly smell of gunge and I'll be picking mud out of my ears for several days (thanks Ari you dickhead!)....
AND IT WAS WORTH IT!!
What an utterly incredible day from start to finish - it was so lovely to catch up with old friends, meet people irl for the first time and make new pals too especially the Moomins and their crew. The organisation and hard work that went into the event was obvious to all and I can't thank Lisa and Leon enough for letting me be a part of it!!
Hey, I also want to thank everyone that was there all this weekend, I had a wonderful time. Thanks for the Moomins for organizing it and everyone who attended - everyone was so lovely, kind and friendly.
I made it home and had the longest shower. I can't hear out of one of my ears and I have a bag of clothes that will now only be used for painting (need to find some decorating to do). I've chopped my writstband off and I'll have to get it framed.
Lisa, Leon, Al and all the regular team worked so hard pulling off what was an incredibly complicated and ambitious event making so many dreams come true. Including many of my own.
I got to wear a staff tee shirt and weilded the camera for about 20 minutes and also had the privilege of seeing both my dressed to the nines girlfriend, Lily and my ex-wife gunged - as well as being gunged myself in Noel Edmonds' famous tank (together with Lily).
Everyone had a go at everything they wanted to - whether that was mud, pies or gunge.
Lovely to see everybody - including many previously unseen faces and charming people.
Sounds like an amazing day! Wish I could have been there (maybe next time!) Only consolation is that I have been lucky enough to have already been in the moonmin's tank and been gunged along with Liz! Also got to meet Lisa who came along to the session! This was of course a number of years ago now in the old studio!
I can only reiterate what's already been said, what an absolutely fantastic weekend. It's been a dream come true from start to finish and I can't wait to relive it through the videos. As an introduction to events I could not have asked for more! Ticked off a lot of 'bucket' list items too (pardon the pun).
Particular thanks to everyone for being so friendly and welcoming, had the best laugh I've had for a long time. And thanks to Lisa, Leon and all for pulling it off in such an incredible way. God only knows the trouble you must have gone to these last few weeks!
Just to add to the above, one of the best days ever. Thanks to everyone involved. I'm still finding bits of the mud tank in my ears! So many memories that will stay with me for a long time. Getting clobbered by the mud wrestling girls, sharing a slime bath with a lovely girl whose name escapes me. And pieing another beautiful girl. Let's hope that Leon & Lisa can be persuaded to do it all again.
Such an amazing weekend, massive thank you to everyone involved. The effort and organisation involved was just phenomenal.
My first Wam event, I've been really looking forward to it since it was announced. The next few days will be a serious come down now I don't have it to look forward to. It surpassed every expectation I had.
For a big Mostwam fan, being in that studio among their famed Wam set ups was surreal.
Huge respect to the Mostwam girls who appeared, I think that took a lot of guts for the types of girls who work for them to agree to do it in front of a live audience.
Quite possibly the most amazing day of at least the last decade. I am high on pie and completely in awe of the amazing mostwam set up and all the work that went into this. Leon and Lisa I just can't praise you enough. I met so many lovely people and I absolutely cried laughing several times. Fantastic!
