For store purchases occurring today (Wednesday) and yesterday, we've found that Epoch has been sending UMD duplicate authorization notices. These are the notices that they send the UMD server after you pay, so it knows to unlock the contents that you've bought, and credit the producer with the sale.
So for the moment, customers may see duplicate transactions in their UMD purchase history, and producers will see artificially inflated sales stats. I do know that there haven't been any actual duplicate charges, only too many content-unlocking pings sent to UMD, messing up our stats. These will go away as I clear out the duplicates over the next day, though more may come through from Epoch, which I will remove as well. I am tightening up on things to prevent the duplicate notices from getting through in the future, but otherwise the stores and billing are operating normally.
Again, nobody has been actually charged twice. It's just a server communication glitch that we're ironing out.
Hollar at me if you have any questions or anything. Messmaster
I can handle "Oops, that was a false alarm" better than "We owe you money, but can't pay you." I hate having to call Knuckles to help settle account balances, he has the personality of a pine cone. But he is really effective at his job.

Update: The duplicate notifications are still coming through to us, but I have updated our system to be able to block them. That also means you should stop getting multiple email confirmations from UMD after a purchase, and you can disregard the ones you've already got. Again, there were no actual duplicate charges, just too many notifications to UMD. I am still updating our records to remove the duplicates already recorded.

I found out a little earlier that they were (and ostensibly still are) going through a nice little DDOS attack. It's hell to fend those off, but hopefully it'll be figured out soon. I believe that's why they are reconfirming a lot of the sales to us.
I have erased our duplicate sales records from the past day, and UMD is blocking further ones. You can contact me with any questions.
Someone made a purchase in my store about an hour ago. I've gotten 4 notifications now for the same sale repeating. Yikes still acting up.
I hope you can figure it out! I'll be having a glass of wine, a smoke and accept that my videos still aren't selling as well as I thought they were for a brief moment.
It's happened with one of my scenes this morning, but only the two notifications and neither on a 15 minute time point, just two notices, about 20 minutes apart, of the same sale.

The flood of confirmations still comes through, and I nor the guys at Epoch really know when it will cease. I've been making adjustments all along to our code, so UMD is pretty good at rejecting them now, and the multiple notifications from us should pretty much stop.
Other than that, sales are actually going through just great, and there aren't duplicate charges. So lemme keep handling this on the backend, and you guys don't really have much to worry about. Of course, producers and customers can always contact me with any concerns at all.

Everyone Seems to be getting Ddos'ed right now. Maybe its the same group?
Just to update, UMD is working great, all the duplicates are being disregarded when we get them, and sales are still coming through just fine.
All stats that producers see are accurate at this time, and folks should not be getting any more extra confirmation emails. I continue to monitor everything as usual.
