I'm writing an article on the WAM fetish as suggested by a member of the Buzzfeed staff (it's just for community, but it'll be bumped to the front page of BF community by this staff member) and Adam & I are going to be doing a TV program in a few months (I can't say what it's about because it's just recently been picked up by the network & that's a big no-no. No, we haven't been paid for it.) SO WHAT'S THE POINT? Glad you asked! (you didn't.) I was wondering if there was any producer or UMD member who would let me use their material for the article or mention them on the television program.

Some people like their anonymity and even if you have a wildly-popular WAM site you may not want it spread to the masses, so I have to ask. I also have to ask because that's the LEGAL thing to do Remember, folks: it's not polite to remove watermarks or not give credit ^_^

So if you're a member with some good material or a producer who doesn't mind me using your stuff (I can black bar any faces if need be) I just need a handful of photos.

I'd use my own, but I want the article to be about the fetish itself, not about me or House of Mess. Because, let's face it, we're just the tip of the iceberg Thanks a bunch! ^_^

And I'd like good-quality amateur and professional stuff. A good mix. I'm not posting anything until it's done right. HOWEVER, Buzzfeed's audience doesn't like reading a lot of details, so forgive me if there's not a ton of info. Unfortunately they like little bites of information, easier to digest for a reader. It's half-ass "journalism."

Well jayce I wanted to make EXTRA sure because that site gets a TON of traffic. I'm also going to keep House of Mess stuff at a minimum because it's a shameless plug as it is haha. However, after sifting through the best of the best House of Mess has to offer I STILL chose one of YOUR pictures X-D That's either because I'm too hard on myself, or because your stuff is always the bomb... I think it's a mix of both

I hate that I'm restricted as far as writing on there. Since their demographic is easily-distracted, easily-bored, I have to condense this "list article" into a few bullet points with 4 sentences or LESS for each one. So far I've got (as bullet points with a few sentences explaining it after each one)

2.) So is it just people having sex in food?
3.) What do WAM-lovers like?
4.) What are the subgenres?
5.) OK. I like WAM. Where do I go from here?

Yes, Buzzfeed is terrible, I know this, but it's also extremely popular and can give a lot of insight into the world of WAM. No matter how stupid some of their "listicles" are, there are still 3 good pieces of journalism for every 25 pieces of shit. It reaches its target demographic and most recently has gotten exclusives for some of the largest pieces of news in the United States. The numbers don't lie.

I went with a place that would not only allow this subject to run on their site, but one that caters to the audience that uses the internet the most, thus giving information about this fetish a chance to be shared and discussed.

Also, I'm not using this to promote myself or my site with my sister, it's just about the fetish. The point of this forum post was to ask permission from producers and users alike if I could use their content.

(and yes, I've seen the Conan take on Buzzfeed and found it funny. This was right before he did an exclusive interview with Buzzfeed.)
