Another hot weekend rolled up, and the organizers brought in tanker trucks filled with refrigerated custard. This was probably the mess that the participant found to be the most fun, and the most sloppy.
Tub in the Park is a fictitious event where tubs of various sizes are set up and in this case filled with ketchup. There are prize vouchers at the bottom of the tubs and each contestant is given three minutes to find one.
The prizes are geared for young women, so contestants had to be at least 20 years of age and sign a waiver.
Next event was with tubs of mustard which will be posted in 2 or 3 days.

Imagine trying to organize it.
In this case, a radio station hosted the weekly event. Here's what they would need to do:
1. Find a bathtub and tank manufacturer who would lend about 20 tubs and tanks of various sizes to the park, including delivery and pickup each week.
2. Find sponsors for the contents, such as a baked-beans manufacturer who would be willing to donate thousands of dollars worth of product for a one-day event. This would be repeated every week.
3. Arrange tanker/pumper trucks to get the donated product, transport it to the park and fill the tubs, then pump it back out after the weekend is over and take it to a disposal site.
4. Pay the disposal site to accept these large quantities of expired food, etc.
5. Pay firefighters (for hose-down at the end of the sessions) and police or emergency workers to be on hand in case of accident or trouble.
6. Pay to have the tickets printed that will be hidden in the tubs. These must be waterproof, so they are not cheap. The waivers and contest rules would also need to be printed out to distribute to those entering, and all waivers would need to be carefully kept in a safe place.
7 Find advertisers to donate the prizes the young women will win each week.
8. Pay to advertise the event.
9. Obtain liability insurance in case someone has an accident or claims an allergic reaction to a substance.
10. Have representatives walking around to enforce the contest rules, keep the young women's tops on, keeping underage, or males out of the tubs, etc. so that any press will be good press and winners will have won fairly.
11. Pay the local bus service to put on extra buses, or possible free buses to and from the park.
12. See if local hotels/motels can offer a discount rate for tourists who come in for the weekend event.
(OPTIONAL EXTRA)
13. Hire musical entertainment and keep things going into the evenings, which would include obtaining a liquor license and more liability coverage.
So those are just the first thirteen reasons I can think of as to why this kind of thing doesn't happen for real.
