When brides Bri and Essie arrive for their special day, kindly old Rev Slymsford suggests they go to an old back room and discuss the situation like ladies, to decide whose wedding can proceed. Sadly neither girl is willing to abandon their big day, and when the conversation turns heated, that table full of treacle, melted chocolate, beans, black paint and more is going to come into play.
Irish Essie decides she can resolve the whole situation by trashing Bri's dress... if Bri's dress is trashed then she will have to postpone. She sets about systematically trashing and incredulous Bri. By the end of the scene Bri's dress is unrecognisable.
I commented on one of these pictures earlier not even realising it was one of yours Rev! Apologies, lools like a fantastic scene, plenty of shocked expressions which I love.
Both Essie and Bri look fab, don't think anyone can walk down the aisle in those dresses now though.
Oh there has to be some revenge, I totally agree with you all.
Bri will definitely be getting some well deserved revenge on Essie in the next episode !
Thank you all for your lovely comments. I really appreciate the encouragement.
Absolutely no apology needed Ray. I am so pleased you love it, and I am a fully paid up member of the 'open mouthed shocked face fan club'. It's a regular direction on the SS set, and Bri is a master of the art.
LeRex: The deluge of chocolate brings a whole new meaning to bridal shower" .
How about our Lord and Saviour appears from the sky, points out that its a bit silly, so theyvstop and have a nice cup of tea and some biscuits. Some lovely biscuits, like Digestives or chocolate hobnobs. Maybe watch an episode of Midsomer Murders. All the non UK readers of this post are looking for a 'translate this' button...
Lapwing Boy: I know...why can't everyone just get along. How many beautiful outfits have been needlessly destroyed...how many expensive hairdo's ruined. I am with you. Lets give this all up and resolve our differences through polite discussion. Then there would be no more totally destroyed expensive dresses.
Speaking of which...The dresses did not survive Kinky Denn. There was no coming back for them.
Bri may remember better than me, but I think it was this scene where Bri wore her own heels, and wanted to try and save them. Rod and I accidentally threw them out, so then Ted and Rod had to go to the bins and try and find them. The thought they'd be there for hours..but luckily the first thing they opened turned out to be Bri's shoes.
