Since we've been talking about Lucille Ball and pratfalls lately, this is a good time to bring up one of my favorite "vintage" scenes... now freshly added to the UMD Store.
Sabrina had never shot pie or slapstick scenes before, but Lucy was her hero. And I gotta say, this fellow redhead did her hero proud! All her SS87 scenes are pretty nice, but this one really has a nice vibe to it.... She has the reactions down cold and gets nailed with like 20 pies or something. Also, this might be the first SS caking! It was only a "fake cake" (a shell filled with Cool Whip) but again, the reaction was perfect. Love that leg lift when the cake nails her...

This really is vintage SStuff material -- i.e. not just old but classic. A willing and eager model with lovely cascading red locks, showing off her luscious legs and gamely undergoing a long string of comic pratfalls and accumulating a massive amount of pie on her lovely head, which at times almost resembles a globe of cream and crust (part of that effect is her big top hat also getting enveloped in pie.)

And I have to agree that cake-splat/leg-lift shot is a truly classic screencap moment! I'm going to repost it here, along with a few more, so that they appear in the Picture Archive (which otherwise contains only one screencap from this post, since the rest pull in from the UMD store page for the video) in hopes that it this will draw more attention to this classic video, which certainly deserves it!

Thanks so much! Sabrina was one of the last great "top hat skits"..... I think there were a few good Toshia ones to come as well. (And actually Tracy's SS99 one is nice.) But she nailed the vibe better than almost anyone else that came after.

I wish 2020 me could impart his cake skills on 2009 me. The execution is great, but the cake itself is just whipped cream inside a cake-shaped frame. I guess Sabrina finally got the true cake experience with SS190 though!

And while I appreciate that she came back for a couple more HD shoots, years after the fact, I'll agree that Sabrina was never better than here: Great legs, and all that gorgeous curly red hair.

So sad Sabrina wasn't profitable enough to bring back for another shoot. I'm guessing she's married and is a mom now, but with the current economic situation, almost anything is possible......

Wow, there were some really long stretches of time between each of her three appearances. If I've got things right, she appeared in three volumes: 87, 141 and 192. (If you're hunting for her in the various SStuff stores, note that she's sometimes indexed as Sabrina and other times as Bree.)

Those are gaps of 54 and 51 volumes, respectively. I think 54 might be the longest gap ever between two appearances of the same model in a SStuff video, and I think her total span across a span of 105 volumes (i.e. from 82 to 107) might be the longest run of any SStuff model, even though there are many models who performed in a lot more volumes than Sabrina. (Please correct me if I've overlooked anyone, Rich.) One of the other close contenders for the first of these two prizes is smoking hot Lyndsay, who took a 51-volume break between her first and second appearances (66 and 117). Like Sabrina, I also found Lyndsay to be gifted at comedic delivery ... especially in her later two volumes (117 and 135).

Yep, I'm pretty sure you're accurate on the volumes and the time gaps. I don't think Sabrina ever stopped modeling, and she's had multiple kids actually! (She might've had the first one even before SS87??) We would just kinda touch base every once in a while and shoot. SS87 was the only volume of hers that sold, but I liked working with her, so we kept it going even though it wasn't "practical" from a financial standpoint. (If she'd been more popular or lived closer, we prob would've done more.)

Officially she's listed as "Bree," which was her request after the last volume, I think. Unofficially, I still call her Sabrina since I'd been calling her that for years already. HA!

The longest gap between volumes is ACTUALLY... LeTreya! SS04, and then not again until SS136. Ten years and 132 volumes in between! (We even shot again after that, for a custom shoot, but I never released it publicly. Not because it's bad, more for financial reasons.) I guess that also technically breaks Sabrina's other record too, even if it's just 2 volumes.

Lyndsay has ALWAYS been one of my favorites, and I have it on good authority that she's due to break the "total span" record very soon.

While I've never been a huge pie fan, I really appreciate what goes into a good slapstick scene. This really feels reminiscent of the scenes Lenny and MK have done in the past. Good stuff man!
