That's great! Looks like a lot. Not sure if the recipe, the only problem is cost when making large quantities.

Alright! After all, a mess this fantastic needs to be shared. It's only real downfall is that it is expensive in large quantities compared to other slimes. Because of the many requests I have gotten of the foam slime recipe, here it is. This one isn't so much an science as it is an art, the recipe is very forgiving.

This is the qty for a starting batch, which is what my white slime was. The tub had about 5x this amount and a little bit of water added at the end to make it slightly more fluid.

*1 gal of Emers Glue
*6-8 (of more) cans of shaving foam
*2 tbs of baking soda
*2 8oz (or bigger) bottles of contact lens solution (must has boric acid in it )
*Water

Start by mixing the glue with about a gallon of water in a large tub, the tube needs to be big enough that you can mix every thing, for small batches a Rubbermaid container works well, large batches a bath tub is best

Add in the backing soda and mix.

Add the shaving foam (this takes forever with how slowly the cans empty) and mix.

Now start to add the contact lens solution, I normally add both bottles which make it sure thick and then add water to thin it to the point I like.

The clean up is easy, just shower it off with water. It does burn if it gets in your eyes.

You can store it for a while if you like, although the foam only seems to last about 24 hours before breaking down, after that you are just left with thick gluey slime which can be fun too. To dispose of mix it with water until it is pretty much colored water. You may need to dispose in batches or remove slime temporarily to ensure your end mix is thin enough to go down drains easily. Have fun!

now, you know my substance aint no MYSTERY. i made a video of how to make it. lol XD we just called it the mystery substance and it stuck!

So this slime and the bed mess slime are the same one. The only difference between the two are amounts of a certain ingredient, the contact solution and water. The recipe I provided will give you that fluffy white slime. Add water to it and you will get my grey-t slime. However, if you add more solution you get stretchier stringier slime that acts more like one solid object you submit to rather than a liquid substance you submerge in.

I purposely thinned it out in the tub because I couldn't imagine how exhausted I would get with it as thick as the white stuff. It would have been AMAZING, but I would have been left with maybe 7 minutes of play before it would have rendered me completely stuck and immobile. We'll see what I do with it in the future though. Just bought 10 gallons of glue and am slowly buying more cans of foam. Thinking of filling my kiddie pool or maybe my claw foot tub. And I mean filling it with the thick stuff.

Also, If you do have a clay pit then we really should get together this summer. Now that I have a consistent schedule I can actually plan trips. You let me play in your pit and me and I can show you how to make some of my favorite slimes.

Baking soda helps hold everything together, it is used in many slime recipes, and the contact lens solution thickens it. The more you add of the lens solution the thicker the slime becomes.

yes, all of our outdoor stuff is all river clay. its pretty amazing!

we have a clay pool in my garage right now that is fucking awesome red dover clay mud. we will have it in there till thursday and then i get the awesome job of repainting the walls. lots of splatter!

but yes, we have about 2 miles of mud during the summer...as long as it rains a fuck ton and then we wait about 2 days with full sunlight, we get awesome mud!!
go on certain days and its smooth and you can dive into it. some days its still smooth but its like sticky mud and you sink into it. some days it looks like tidal mud and you dont sink super far but all the mud on top is smooth and BEAUTIFUL. you can just lay there and roll in this silky, beautiful, dark grey mud. its a really cool deal to drive out there and see what kind of mud you have for that day!

we would love to have you...and contact solution! never would have guessed!! it saved my life yesterday when i got blasted in the eye with that clay. like i slow motion watched this mud come right at my damn eye.

tis. we must get stella down here. i will be in ohio this summer for school for 6 weeks but, once i get back, i got lots of catching up to do! the mud is usually best riiiight at the beginning of june, all through june really. beginning of july. i may have to play in june and leave for school so i can be back by august 10th!

One quick question though - how the hell do you get rid of it? Does it just dilute down and wash down the plug hole?

I took out 10 gallons and stored them for later use (ended up dumping them over my sub) and added water to what was left in the tub. Because everything is water soluble it was only a matter of getting it thin enough before pulling the plug.
