A very special video taking you behind the scenes of a genuine Sploshing photoshoot. Epiphany looks amazing in, and out of, the Indiana Jones outfit We got permission to film a very special BTS video as ace photographer Rod Whitestar directs lovely Epiphany Jones in an Indiana Jones themed photoshoot. You don't see Rod... the video's focus is 100% on Epiphany as she gets covered in green slime, whilst exhibiting various poses. She goes from clothed to naked and open legged and gets a thorough drenching in the slime.
Over the course of over half an hour's footage from 2 different camera angles, you get to see her in some incredible poses and sequences, with the video enhanced by a few of the very best of Rod's stills from the day. As it transpired, a camera glitch meant that many of Rod's fave shots didn't come out on his stills camera, so it's even more fortunate that we have this special video to capture an amazing shoot with Epiphany.
My preferred medium is stills, but I do enjoy video as well. In this case, I asked the Rev to film the shoot as it takes place but to concentrate on Epiphany.
In the film you will hear my style of how I like to do a shoot, and Epiphany was an absolute star in bringing my thought process on to film.
You can see a full set of stills (for free!) on my profile at:
I am going to riff on the William Goldman (writer of Butch Cassidy, Stepford Wives, Misery & All The Presidents Men) axiom that "Nobody knows anything...... Not one person in the entire motion picture field knows for a certainty what's going to work. Every time out it's a guess and, if you're lucky, an educated one."
I really thought this scene was a sure fire hit. . So many people have said they really wondered what it was like on a shoot..wondered what it would be like to be a fly on the wall, and this one takes you right there. You hear direction and laughter between director and model. It's candid not staged. It's the real deal.
Then, the other reason I thought it was a smash was Rod's amazing idea and brilliant execution. To watch Epiphany take enormous great squirts of gunge dressed as Indy. She looks amazing. Then the uniform comes off, but the slime keeps coming. I really thought this one could not fail and then....damp squib city here we come .
I can be a bit more gung ho about this one, without, hopefully, sounding like a prick, as it's Rod's vision and concept not mine...and I thought his vision was fantastic. And when we wrapped, I thought....what an amazing idea. What a smash. Maybe it was the fact that I didn't have to artistically direct this one, or worry whether it would come out 'right' (like with customs) that made me love this one so much. I do also find when you film your own stuff, sometimes seeing how the sausage is made can take away some magic, whereas here, I just had to capture Epiphany 's great posing..and marvel at Rod's creativity, and ability to get Epiphany to create amazing poses, and her ability to deliver every single time.
I felt gutted for Rod that camera issues meant some of his pics didn't quite come out right ...but those that did come out, look amazing. I strongly recommend following the link in Rod's post above to see his amazing photos for free.
I'm rambling now...anyway, lest I be understood I am absolutely not moaning that this one has flown under the radar, saleswise. I have been so lucky in so many ways...and I've had at least as many unexpected hits as unexpected misses. Just laughing about my stunning inability to get aligned with what a bestseller looks like, nearly 10 years into my Wam producing career, and taking solace in the wise words of Goldman.
Well I thinks is is amazing. I've always wanted to see what a WAM shoot would be like, so it was a great idea.
Epiphany is superb, as always, and Rod is a great WAM photographer.
I'm suprised it hasn't done well.
Agree, it's a shame there were technical issues. But I wouldn't be dis-hearted. It's an amazing scene and really gives an insight into a WAM shoot. Top stuff.

I am so so pleased that you could dig it. Just to point out for anyone reading, the technical issues were with Rod's camera, which possibly didn't cope with the extreme heat too well. Thankfully the video (and a goodly number of Rod's stills, d.v) came out perfectly
Really appreciate the fact that you've taken the time to give this feedback having purchased the scene...I am so pleased that it hit the mark for you.
