I've tried others that weren't good that I can't remember the names of. I think Kling is good (I think you disagree), if you feed it the right prompt images. Nothing I've seen makes me think Sora will be a step up - it looks like the same nonsense as all the others.

I think it's a step up from the other platforms for sure and the video length and resolution is too. You're right, I've not been too impressed with Runway, Luma etc but there is obvious growth and development in them too. hunyuan is looking good too and it's open weight to be ran locally and uncensored. I think Sora will do very well in it's censored form and fully expect social media to be absolutely riddled with videos over the next few weeks. My thoughts haven't changed as a whole though, video will take another year or 2 to fully mature but it's a big jump forward today. I'll be honest, I'm not too impressed with it from a wam perspective. The content filtering is very high and as a result attempts of anything messy are way off. I did expect some of the more PG rated content would generate better. Perhaps it's my prompting. I've no doubt the model is capable of way more, just like Dalle is but you are going to do a lot of prompt engineering and jailbreaking to get anything decent from it and I don't want to risk my account as it stands
