Hey guys, just apologizing for my delay in responding to customer service requests and inbox messages. We just put our 13 year-old Border Collie down after her nursing her for weeks, and are struggling to get through it. She has been my office companion every day while working on UMD, since 2002.
Over the next few days I'll be taking care of most of the issues from this week. Thanks for your patience.
Our family cat lived 19 years...she literally was a part of the family.
So hard to let go of anyone/-thing you're close to, and 13 years as a faithful companion is a long time to have someone by your side and then one day, they're not there.
I can only imagine how you must be feeling. My condolences...
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! Like others have said, when they're with you all the time for that long, and suddenly they're not there, it's devastating. Our dog was 13 when he died. It took us a long time to get over it.
I offer my deepest sympathies for the loss of your family member. Unless someone has loved their pet that much or lost one after that long, they don't know how painful it can be. I still miss my little Reno I lost 5 years ago. Take all the time you need *hugs*
MM, I am so sorry to hear about the loss your family has had to endure... the only comfort i can offer is that she will great you tail wagging on the rainbow bridge.
Its not a condolence but be grateful she isn't suffering any more. The biggest way we can show our love to those who love us unconditionally is by making the decisions that are selfless and for them alone.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you manage to take the time you need to start the healing process. I am sure everyone here will understand you taking some time out. And we promise to behave in your absence!
Sorry to here about your loss . We have a pug with a bad heart , the vet has told us she will not live to be an old dog . She's only two , and the thought of losing her is unbearable but I wouldn't give up a minute with her even knowing what's coming . It's amazing how close you can get to an animal . Best wishes to you and yours .
I am so sorry to hear this. I had two dogs. They were like my babies. Although logically I know that we live longer than they do, it was heartbreak both times anyway.
