nope. it is NON fda approved mesh that was put in my body (which is now torn and scattered about, pressing on the nerves) , about 3 layers of scar tissue and some torn muscle i can still do stuff but i have to press through some serious pain. I basically do shit until i cant take it anymore.

it has been a severe setback and the person who did this to me? doesnt have to do shit about it. the laws have protected this idiot so i am out all the money. yay!

I am not sure why people cant just be "human" and admit they fucked up and try to help you fix it....but alas....we are human, i suppose. i just wish some people, like this doctor in this case, coudl be a little more of an empathetic human.

the mesh that has broken into pieces...which it shouldnt have in such a short amount of time...or ever...is one of the things causing my pain. a lot of it has settled on nerves and are causing pain so they have to find all of it and get it out. it can travel around your body as well and cause some serious shit. so, its pretty fucking scary.
whats even more fucked up is this doctor had no fucking fda approval to use this mesh how he did yet, im paying for all of this bc of some fucking "two year" thing....this mesh was put in less than two years ago.

its so insanely fucked. like i cant really wrap my head around it to be honest. i have even called this doctor and even though he has operated on me 3.....4 times now? put me out of work and money THAT many times over 5 years.....all i want is him to pay for me to get fixed. thats it. i dont want to fucking take him for everythign he has done. i just want him to help me get better. he wont return my phone calls. its sad. you trust someone. a doctor. a very well known doctor and with a good reputation...and they just fucking suck. he knows he fucked up. he knows though, that he is very well protected with 6 lawyers on his retainer. NO malpractice lawyer will take my case because of this "two year statue of limitations" when my first surgery was done.

Trust me, I know that feeling all too well. I just want to be better so I can have a normal life. It especially sucks when the doctors run out of medicines or procedures to try.

But you pose a really good point about the lawsuit. There are chances that the doctor didn't do anything wrong per se. But, the manufacturer of that mesh, and also the implants could be held liable.

I don't want to freak you out, but there are a lot of stories about leaking implants and serious health complications like lymphoma resulting.

You may not want to deal with this, but you may not have a choice if you want to get better.

it was paid for by me. it was surgery number 3? 4? and he decided to use mesh this last time around......

and didnt do what needed to be done as far as muscle repair and removal of scar tissue from prior surgeries. he basically fucked me. over and over and kept telling me he was fixing things. and he would....and then it would fuck up again very shortly after. then once it did i found out all the things he did wrong.

you trust doctors, you know? especially ones with good reputations and you realize they have a good reputation because they have a team of 6 lawyers on retainer and if you even try to touch this guy? is not worth it....no matter what you have been through. he is SOOOOOO PROTECTED and the laws are FUCKED for patients.

its sad, really. :/ oh well. life goes on.
