Hello all!! So the new news is I just wrapped 3 days of filming for a Swedish TV show called "Outsiders." They contacted me a few weeks ago and I wasn't sure if I was actually going to be chosen for the show. It's a bit like that World of Wierd show, in that they pick 3 people that live alternative lifestyles to do a 45 minute program at about 15 minutes each story. It was interesting to see how TV is made, and the people were really beautiful and open minded. I have faith they won't make a mockery of us, and that's why I said yes to this project, as well as getting experience for the larger documentary project many of you know I've been working on. It will air on kanal 5 in Sweden and will also be available online at some point in the new year. So fingers crossed I did us proud and they don't edit it to shitty shit. (Which as I said, I don't think they will) Here's a couple pics with a taste of what we got up to. Cheers to spreading the good word of wam!

Oh and I only mentioned "world of Weird" to explain the time slot. It seems like a much more open minded non biased informative program. Fingers crossed Im not wrong. Agh!

Haha I assure you I was wearing my usual jeans and sweat shirt most of the filming. Eek. Ha. Gotta be real though, right?

Exposure in any form is good to bring any topic to light as discussion. I'm happy as Maria is a great representation for many of us. Passion, tenacity, humbleness and simply being a cool person.

I do hope your road trip across America, part 2 is as fantastic as the first. I'm sure it'll be a smashing success! If anyone wants to have the time of their life and try, I will say Maria is fantastic and makes it easy, fun and most of all wildly messy as you need it to be. You just have to supply your thoughts and self to it.


On a side note to Maria -
I'd love to have her come to SF to meet my significant other. And she's into wet and messy! We've done several so far and expect to do one regularly. She's also into dressing up! My other fetish. I still haven't watched it. I have no idea what she's saying in clip and haven't watched the whole show yet. If any Swedish translators want to hop in here it would be much appreciated. Haha So I hope I didn't F this up royally for us!

Maria is an awesome ambassador for WAM and for the UMD! I watched the whole show video (the guy with the snakes was crazy! If I understood the Swedish narration correctly, he likes to hit them with pies! )!

You did a fantastic job of explaining WAM and demonstrating it! Very well-spoken description, and you were hilarious at the times you broke up laughing!

You looked so cute and so hot in the dresses you were wearing, as well as the jeans!

Of course, great fun as always, Maria. I don't speak Swedish, so no idea what they were saying (aside from occasional words like "splosher" slipping through). But at least we could understand you, Maria. "This one was nice and easy."

Had to skip past the other segments, particularly the snake stuff. Given my dislike for snakes, the combination throughout the episode is like some weird psychological experiment somebody is subjecting me to:

Messy Maria: Yes!
Snakes: Yikes!
Maria: Awesome!
Snakes: Noooooooo!
Maria: Mmmmmm...

If anybody has region lock problems with watching it, or wants an archive copy, I put my media savvy to good use and snagged a good quality copy of it and repackaged it into an MP4 that I could share a link to if there aren't objections or rules not to do so.

I totally forgot to mention that I almost died laughing when the video scene opened and within 2 seconds, Maria, walking on the street, took a cream covered cupcake (or something) and pushed it into her face, getting the cream all over her nose and mouth!

Damn, that was cute, AND sexy!

If you were watching that show as a neutral I think Maria comes across as the least freaky! Will wait for the Swedish translation but it looked a really positive example of what we are all about

Oh. It's a bit of a change of tone after the adverts; but I think this is coming across as a fundamentally positive piece. Heaven knows what the voiceover is saying, but Maria is considerably less po-faced than the people they've had on equivalent Channel 4 documentaries talking about their fetishes and unusual behaviours in the past. Laughter is important, and so is talking about boundaries (it was quite clear that the woman in "World of Weird" wasn't happy she was taking part)

(And they even gunged the car in the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel advert!)
