Next month I'm going to be getting messy - alone, sadly - in a hotel room. It will be my first WAM session in years and the first time getting messy outside of my house so I want to make sure I have everything I need.
So far, my list is:
Disposable plates Shaving foam Food colouring for pies Gunge powder Bucket and jug for pouring Fork for mixing pies and gunge
And for cleaning up Bin bags Kitchen roll Disposable apron and rubber gloves
Is there anything I'm missing? Any tips welcome!
I'll be filming and uploading pics on here afterwards
Hi Erin a small inflatable paddling pool would keep most of the mess in one place and save time on clean up.......................oh and don't forget the custard
I'd take a cleaning spray or liquid or some sort and some microfibre cloths too
also be careful not to let the room get too humid as it can set off the smoke alarms - keep the bathroom door closed if you need a really long shower afterwards and then keep it closed after til all the steaminess is gone

Seconded. As I learned from scary experience in the very posh Beauchief Hotel in Sheffield. Me and my gungey mate (a very last minute bit of luck dropping on a splosher looking for a messy playmate as they were staying in the hotel on business that night) and we steamily set off a smoke alarm. I ended up cowering half covered in custard while he reassured the manager and his work mate!
Also...more binbags than you think you're going to need.
Depending on the room and where you are getting messy, you might want some plastic sheeting. My preferred ones are cheap shower curtains. Little sturdier that the decorating sheets and easier to use.
Definitely get some plastic sheeting and make sure the bin liners are large and heavy duty. Roll up all mess in the plastic sheeting and transfer to bin liners. Makes cleaning up easier. If using a Travelodge I also recommend tipping the bed up on its side to make the area for mess a lot bigger, as you can see from the pictures...
One bag of supplies for the session will always end up as 2 bags of mess once you've finished. Remember what was in carton and cans when you started and the neatly folded plastic sheets will take up a lot more room when screwed up and placed in bin bags. Make sure your bag is big enough to carry it all away afterwards.
Only had one messy experiance in a hotel. Travelodges have great wetrooms. Take a jug to wash down the walls. Only used shaving foam which swills down the plug hole nicely and doesn't give off any suspicous odours. Looking to get a small foldable builders bucket to hopefully mix some gunge up next time.
I always use the bathroom, not the room itself. I use plastic sheets in moderation. You don't need them for every surface. I do bring plastic bags, for empty cans and cartons. I do bring a cleaning cloth.
Using plastic sheets to contain, and roll up, any mess will make for ridiculously heavy bags of rubbish, which are then at risk of splitting (inevitably at the most inopportune moment). Plus it's a hell of a lot of plastic to be throwing away into landfill.
Confine your mess to the bath or shower (or an accessible wet room, for best effect). Anything you're worried about washing down the shower/bath drain, scoop out and flush down the loo instead.
Do as Candy advises and keep the bathroom door shut, to avoid problems with over-sensitive fire-detection systems.
Don't forget your own 'cleaning up' supplies; you can't always rely on dispensers in hotel bathrooms being refilled.
Check the shower before you start. You don't want to reach clean-up stage only to discover you're saddled with a non-functioning shower...
Have fun. And to demonstrate I practise what I preach...
Great advice so far I'll add a note about refrigeration of supplies. If you're bringing strawberries or pastries, it's best to have a hotel room with an empty fridge. If not, you could also fill up the sink with ice as a temporary chiller.
I use a disabled room at premier inn for all my messy sessions all I do I just wash it all down plug down and I just get a wiper blade and pull it across the floor towards plug hole job done
Someone touched on it a little but I highly recommend Dawn dish soap. That stuff gets out stains better than any cleanser I've ever seen. That stuff is a lifesaver.
If you want to really make it a naughty experience I recommend picking up a heavy duty plastic drop sheet or shower curtain and a cheap set of sheets for the bed. That way you can have some messy fun both on and in bed.
Ask in reception when the fire alarms get tested. Yes I've had them go off mid session before- they tested for a full minute so I was getting ready for a VERY gunge-coated evacuation.
Cancel housekeeping if its not already opt-in. They don't want to see the mess and you don't want to be disturbed.
Test shower function BEFORE getting messy.
The mess will fly a LOT further than you think. Likewise mixing gunge powder will coat nearby surfaces in technicolour dust.
Mess in the bathroom is a LOT easier to clean than mess in the bedroom, but the bedroom has a lot more space. Bathroom walls often use a water/steam/damp resistant paint that wipes down pretty easily. Bedroom you'll want to hang dust sheets over EVERYTHING.
You can make a crude overhead gunge tank by cutting a hole in a bucket and hanging it off the shower. (make sure its properly secured before filling and before getting under it!)
Inflatable pools are great for catching mess (and rolling around in after)- remember to put some padding under it.
Spilled gunge is very slippery- especially as a fine layer. The bathtub turned into a proper ice rink.
When finished, the mess can be diluted 50-50 with water- swish your hand through it to make free-flowing suspended lumps and it can be flushed down the toilet. I've had pies, cakes, slime, bentonite clay, and tonnes of very thick gunge! I've never blocked a toilet!!
Remember to bring- Masking tape (this won't pull paint off the wall when hanging dust sheets) Duct tape (for everything else) Dustpan- great for scraping and scooping mess. Bin bags- just remember most bin bags aren't fully water tight and the seams will ooze any loose liquid left in them. Flannel, extra shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Goggles, swimming hat- this saves a lot of strain on your hair. Especially with the shaving foam. A sponge scourer is pretty good for cleaning up.
Personally I always clean up in the nude/underpants- hotel rooms get very warm and stuffy. If I bring an apron and gloves its to get messy in the outfit.
Bags full of mixed recycling- ask in reception. I usually say "I've got a few bags of recycling in my room- can I drop them in the bins around the back?" to which I'm normally told just to leave it in my room. I've always taken bags of rubbish (ruined soggy clothes, soiled plastic sheeting etc) with me but there's nothing stopping you asking.
I so have to plan ahead some three steps because I get into this messy zone and I don't typically come out of it until I either cum or I run out of energy, not mess.
The one time I used a hotel... here are the things I either didn't have, or didn't have enough of:
-Drop cloths...they're annoying, but help with cleanup -Pocket stain remover pen. I didn't have one and left a stain that looked like blood. It sort of stuck with the hotel's charm anyways -Garbage bags. Helpful if they're blackout -Your own towels. Who knows where the ones in the room have been -Good soap and shampoo
