In these difficult times, it's remarkably comforting to have professionals like Valencia and GirlDynamic on the case! The ladies give us a messy briefing on cannolivirus using cream pies and yellow and chocolate cake batter for demonstration. Spokesperson GirlDynamic's long white coat is destroyed while nurse Valencia wears a red PVC dress for extra protection! Filmed on Pi(e) Day 2020, 3/14! *Coronavirus is very serious. But we still have to have fun!
Historically, when you fight an enemy, you mock the enemy. In WWII, we had Warner Brothers/Bugs Bunny cartoons ridiculing Hitler. We didn't stop all entertainment in the West because people on our side were/are dying. Mel Brooks writing "Springtime for Hitler" in 1969 didn't magically cause more Jews to die in the Holocaust. Whether the enemy is Hitler or the Coronavirus or _____, Shokolada is doing the same thing as Warner Brothers or Mel Brooks.
If we forget the overarching concept about the coronavirus in this clip, it is very funny and sexy with the cute GirlD getting pied & chocolate poured over her!
The "Coronavirus" concept is very edgy, probably not in good taste (especially at the moment), but a lot of comedy is not in good taste. [except for the (real) pies and chocolate in so many of the scenes.]

This is a pandemic, not a war. This isn't defying an enemy, because it has no face or feelings. It only causes sickness and death. How do you mock sickness and death, especially as it is happening? I don't want to pile on this guy for trying to find humor in a tough situation. But what you're describing isn't the same thing.

Sigh... mocking isn't JUST to demoralize the enemy - obviously, the virus can't feel shame - but also for moral support on OUR side.
Anyway, people already have their physical actions greatly curtailed: there is no justification for silencing their speech.

Sigh...I'm not trying to silence anyone's speech. If I were, I would have flagged this, or bitched to Soundguy on a PM, like a snake. Instead, I'm just here giving my opinion. But as this serves to offer moral support (as you claim) maybe we could be a little more considerate as to how those on the other side of things might take this. In other words, maybe we can wait till people stop dying, to put out a pie in the face parody. Every other producer has shown such restraint thus far. No reason for the face.
Is there a particular reason producers are still shooting right now? My production company is shut down right now - no way I'm shooting with anyone and risking my health or my model's health. 40% of all covid-infected people show no symptoms.
This pandemic is killing people. Please don't mock our pain and suffering. And if you really feel it's necessary, at least donate some of the proceeds to a charity currently working to fight this thing, such as Project C.U.R.E. or Heart to Heart International.
Really enjoyed the sketch! Sorry, everyone here has decided to chastise you for it. As someone with a family member who was dealing with covid, I felt like it brought a little levity to the situation.
We take the coronavirus very seriously. People are dying and losing their homes, business are closing, and the economy is in danger. In no way do we intend to mock the pain and suffering of the people going through this terrible time. We apologize directly to everyone offended by our comedy.
This serious message is the very first scene in the video. As you can see, we never considered the disease itself a joke. https://youtu.be/naOa0nsDw00
